Use the Search
And before someone else tells me to -- use the search function.
It is already reported in the continental.com master thread from March this year. |
Please indicate which version of Safari you are using. Also, I am going to merge this with the CO.com master thread, as it really belongs there.

Xyzzy CO forum moderator Added: I've downloaded the newest version of Safari (thanks, rkkwan) and the problem seems to be resolved, at least on the DTW/EWR search. |

Never mind - resolved.

Cant use Chase 5% credit card on website
Hi all
I have been tryting to book a Rt ERW- MAD using the onepass 5% Chase card I have logged in with my onepass acct put the ONEPASS in the offer spot ( even in advanced search) and nothing all I get is an red error message. The website reply follows: The 5% discount is not applicable to this booking and is not included in the price quoted. The 5% discount is available when using a Continental Airlines MasterCard card from Chase for 12 months from the date of when the account was opened. If your account has been opened for less than 12 months, please verify that the OnePass number and OnePass PIN being used are that of the primary cardmember. If not, sign out and sign back in with the OnePass number of the primary cardmember, then begin your flight search. I have had the card for 2 weeks it is my primary payment on the site I would like to pay for this reservation can anyone help? Thanks |
Rare/Obscure Co.com problem....no posting of CO.COM booking bonus of 500 miles
This is new...maybe it's just a one off problem that occured twice in the past week?
Checking over My Account on Monday I noticed both flights I took last week were posted to My Account for the mileage and EQM/EQPs earned but the 500 miles for the CO.COM booking bonus were not listed or earned. I waited two more days and still no booking bonus. Normally the booking bonus seems to post to My Account the same day/time as the first leg of a itinerary is completed. Tonight I called the CO.COM support desk and the agent quickly filled out a report and reported the missing miles (1000) would be posted within 72 hrs to My Account. No explanation from the agent but I am promised the miles. ^^ Maybe this is a one off occurence but I have never noticed the booking bonus failing to show for two seperate flights in the same week. BTW, Yes both flights were purchased at CO.com with myself logged in. Has anyone else encountered this recently? |
I have noticed that once a reservation is flown it goes into somewhat of a black hole until it posts to "past reservations". I have to report my trip expenses first thing the day I get back and if I fly on a Friday it looks as though things don't post until Tuesday.

Problem booking specific fare when ONEPASS is used
I am trying to book an (H) fareclass using the ONEPASS promotion code.
I use the "advanced" search option and select the following option: o Enter specific classes of service: (ex. Y, H, K) [with H entered as my desired class of service] If I don't enter ONEPASS as the promotion code, H fares are shown. If I do enter ONEPASS as the promotion code, other fare classes such as (x,w,u, etc.) are shown...I don't want these fares! Prior to this week I was able to do this. Now, it won't let me...was the site recently "upgraded?" (ie. broken?) |
Itinerary shows no Aircraft yet I can select seats...but that is questionable
I have an itinerary CLE-EWR-DUB, GLA-EWR-CLE.
The outbound was waitlisted for an upgrade but it cleared days ago. For the return I will be in coach and I know that when I booked the ticket I selected the seats I wanted in coach. However the past few days I log in to check these coach seats and the seatmap shows me for GLA-EWR no Aircraft assigned but it shows me a seatmap with selectable seats. If I select a seat it does not save it. The same holds true for the EWR-CLE connection but it displays the aircraft correctly as a 752. After selecting seats and hitting the continue button CO.COM shows me seats for the outbound but "--" for the return trips. It also says "I will need to see an agent at checkin for seat assignments". I called the PE line and the agent says she shows both aircraft on the return as 752's and the seats I did select online are the ones she shows as being my seat. No ideas why I cannot see them online. Jokingly the PE line did assure me that I have an aircraft on the GLA-EWR portion (not having to swim back across the big pond) contrary to what CO.com reported...:) |
This is a new one. On Saturday, I got an email from CO saying "Check in for your flight to DFW". Only problem, I'm not going to DFW and I wasn't scheduled to go to MCO until Monday, which was well out of the 24 hour window at 8:17am on Saturday. Since the links in the email don't require any sort of authentication, I clicked on the link and the reservation was indeed for someone else not even originating in the same city or headed to the same destination. I was also allowed to change seats and check-in, if I proceeded. Of more interesting note, I didn't get my check-in email yesterday so I'm assuming someone else got it. This is rather scary since I could have gone in and changed seats on this person and to think someone else could do that to me.
Also, a different issue, I've been trying to book a reward reservation from SFO to CDG in November. I search for flights, I pull them up and select them but when it goes to price them it says they aren't available. However, it's been doing this for almost a week. Calling into reservations, they see that all the flights have the E class seats, but they too can't make the reservation as a single itin. If they break it up, it prices it at 175k instead of the 100k. |
Change Flights presetns only Reward Ticket Options (Used UG miles outbound only)
I am in the middle of an intinerary (CLE-EWR-DUB, returning GLA-EWR-CLE on Saturday) and I used miles to upgrade the outbound flight last weekend. Today I went to search for a return flight a day earlier and it tells me there are no reward seats available on the return. However I am not using reward miles for anything on the return, didn't even asked to be waitlisted. Guess I have to call to have this straightened out. Anyone else ever had this problem?

All flight segments not showing
I have 3 separate reward reservations for upcoming flights that are not showing the return segments. They were all booked on line and appear correct on the eTicket Receipt. Maybe the problem exists because they span the new year. Anyone else have a similar issue?
It is not a huge deal because I am fairly confident that the reservations are intact but it does prevent me from selecting seats. Keba |
