I completed an itinerary over the weekend, and I was surprised to see that the flight segments for my flights on Friday and Saturday have already posted to my account. Upon further inspection, I was only credited for 50% EQM/EQP. Only one flight DAL-IAH got the proper milage (as it had another line that stated "co.com EQM/EQP", and it had 250 miles and 1 segment, which complimented the existing 250 miles and 0 points).
Should I justgive it time? And since I bought my itenerary on CO.com (as I always do ), I should get 100% EQM's, so I wuz wondering... |
Just got the rest of my flights credited...at 50% EQM's. :(

From talking to some folks at the technology forum, they told me the issue with multi-carrier itins reflecting mileage should be gone. It's kind of fixed.
I have a trip next week on UA and CO. I have a flight on UA from SAN-SFO and then a flight on SFO-EWR a few days later. When I pull it up online, the United flight shows "500" in the miles column. However, now it has no elite percentage listed so that's a step in the right direction. My other issue is that I went to co.com to change the CO leg and it failed and just told me to call the support desk. So, it appears that the UA leg is preventing co.com from changing the co portion. |
The reward redemption funciton is at it again.
I keep trying to book a standard reward to Asia that shows as available on reward calendar for the dates I want. All classes (EN) show as available on the screen where you click to reserve the flights. After I click to purchase the flights, I get an error message. Called the elite line, and the agents say that EN does not exist on all the flights in question. |

It happened to me as well. Tried to check reward availability from IAH or EWR to TPE for May 2008 and It says no flights available without showing the calendar. Then tried KIX and it responded "Osaka, Japan (KIX) is not currently served by Continental or its partners. Service ended Mon., Apr. 7, 2008. Please modify your search criteria." |
The website does not allow you to book a specific fare class (i.e. H or Y) and enter the ONEPASS discount code at the same time. The discount code reverts the ticket to the lowest available class.
I managed to get around this by booking the appropriate fare class, using the pay with cash option and then calling the continental.com support desk to correct the fare cost for me. |
Trip Alert & Flight Status & other email
Trip alert still appears flakey. I just changed email addresses on co.com to see if that fixes it.
100% of the time no trip alert for any flight operated by Chautauqua Airlines, Inc. dba Continental Express. Occasionaly, I'll get an trip alert for ontime departures for my 2nd segment when connecting to mainline from a Chautauqua Airlines flight. My understanding that we were NOT supposed to get alerts for connections (though I think we should.. I want to know when I turn my phone on during taxi in if I have to rush off the plane for a B to E connection. NOTE: THIS IS A FEATURE REQUEST]) Occasionaly, I will get a trip alert on my return when the first (3rd actually) segment is on a mainline jet. I have not gotten a trip note in recent memory, though this may be I'm booking too close to departure time. Finally, when booking a new reservation I always receive the "continental.com Itinerary Information for your trip to city". IMHO this email is utterly useless because it does not have flight times on it. Add another line under each bullet flight that says something like Departs at X:xx arrives at Y:yy (Connection time z:zz) |
BUG -->
When attempting to change a 10,000 miles each way domestic reward ticket, flight options are shown at 12,500 miles per segment. Not sure if it actually tries to ticket at this price, as the flight I wanted was not available for reward. |
Please sign in to preview enhancements
In the midst of a flight search when I am already signed in, I get this message:
"Please sign in to preview enhancements to continental.com that will be released to the general public in the future. To sign in, please enter your OnePass number and Personal Identification Number and then click Sign In. " OK, I think I'll sign in again to preview those enhancements. When I do, I get this message: ! We could not process your request. Please see the message below and make revisions. Please sign in to preview enhancements to continental.com that will be released to the general public in the future. .... ! The preview.continental.com Web site is limited to invited customers." Gee, I thought I was just invited! Guess I didn't make the cut. Then why did you interrupt my flight search? |
Not sure if this qualifies for posting here, please advise if not. I'm just a lowly non-elite trying to build up some miles, and a click-thru shopping link isn't working. Specifically, I'm trying to click thru to Sephora, and from co.com, I get page cannot be displayed, but I go into another window and go to sephora.com and it comes up fine. I'd like to get miles for said purchase. This has happened before with Dell, and it was out of whack for several weeks, but I am new to FT and saw this thread. I have lurked and done some posting and I've seen how newbies get treated, so all I ask is an answer to my problem.

Changed ticket online, receipt shows old itin, seat selector shows the new
I admit I did not search...shoot me.
Tonight I changed one leg of a multi segment itinerary I had that starts tomorrow, if it matters I am already checked in. I did it 100% online with the change being a flight returning Thursday and not on Friday. During Seat selector I was offered the first class cabin for seating (I had been EUAd on the former flight) and selected my seat. After the purchase I was sent an e-Receipt then I noticed it displayed the former flight I had reserved but displays no AC or meal information on the receipt. I see the same thing online via my account. I called the plat elite line and they see the new return date of Thursday on the receipt and offer to send me an email with the receipt. The receipt they sent shows the old return date. For my flight change I think I am OK, this seems like a display bug to me. For the record I am using Netscape 7.2 with Windows 2000 Pro on a DELL D600 laptop. |
The reward calendars are (once again) showing standard BusinessFirst and coach availability, but no flights are available at the standard level when actually clicking on the dates on the calendar.

Some Multi Segment Trips not giving Check In Notices via email
Pretty sure its been reported, I didn't find it searching though.
I haven't put my finger on what the exact cause is but recently I have noticed that I only get email check-in online notices for some flights. I thought it was related to multi-segment flights but last week I flew one and it worked without an issue with all email notices being received. Any ways, two weeks ago I flew CLE-EWR-LIS return CPH-EWR-CLE and no online checkin notices. Last week I flew CLE-BOS, BOS-EWR-RIC, RIC-CLE and received email notices for checkin. This week CLE-LGA, EWR-TPA, TPA-CLE and no email notices for checkin. FWIW, only this weeks flight had any modifications done to it after purchasing at CO.COM. |
It looks like the problem of getting another user's profile is still occurring. I just went to continental.com, and it displayed another OnePass member's account information on the home page. When I clicked on "View Account Details," I was able to see their home address, email address, phone number, etc.
Scott, I am going to send you an email with the details, since this strikes me as a potentially serious security issue... |
Minor seat map display issue
When making a reservation and choosing the "view seats" option:
"Select" the first flight of your itinerary. Click, "view seats" on the second segment. The second segment (chosen) seat map displays (which is correct). Click the first segment's tab. The first segment seat map displays correctly. Click the second segment tab again. A different flight's seat map shows up, which is not likely the correct behavior. |
