Apparently, this plan fizzled out. I still cannot review my (waitlisted) itinerary online.

Odd thing with an itinerary and seating.
Had a flight purchased last week on co.com, a day later I changed it to include some other cities, I did this over the phone. Today I printed/viewed my reservation from My Account as I got a 5 day out EUA email notice. The seats for my flights listed 2a|---|---|---|---. I went to view/change seats and it also displayed this. I changed from 2A to 2B, then selected the tab for the second flight. All of a sudden it displayed seat assignments for all of the remaining flights. Maybe the account was out of synch or something and changing the seat then caused the other seats to be displayed...odd.... |

My concern, however, is that I was never notified of the schedule change at all either via email or text msg. I get all of my other notifications via Trip Advisor for departure info and upgrades, so I'm sure it was never sent.
I find it funny though when I view the reservation it says near the bottom By selecting the Continue option, I acknowledge and accept the schedule change explained above. . There is a Continue and Back button, hitting the back button aborts the confirmation. Like I have a choice....:) |
"Added to First Class Standyby List" on co.com printed boarding passes - shows on second segment when already in FC:
Situation 1 - two segment flight - Passenger 1 (Plat) Flight 1: In coach - above message on boarding pass - OK Flight 2: In FC (few days before) - above message appears on BP - WRONG - Already in First Class - does not need to state on second pass Situation 2 - two segment flight - Passenger 2 (Silver) Flight 1: In FC - no message - OK Flight 2: In coach - above message as it should be - OK |
Problems with OnePass signup / address verification page
I (an NW elite) am flying an upcoming award trip on CO metal.
A non-FT friend purchased tickets on the same flights directly from CO. Because of her travel patterns and the fact that she will earn 100% EQMs if she credits her mileage to OnePass, I have encouraged her to sign up for OnePass. However, we experienced great difficulties with the OnePass signup page -- specifically, the USPS address verification page. After entering her address, a page would load purportedly "matching" her address to the "correct" official address maintained by the Postal Service. Regardless of which option selected on that page ("use previously entered address," "use suggested address", etc.), pressing the "Continue" button caused the system to spit us back out onto the opening page. Only by entering the exact address (including the ZIP + 4) suggested as the USPS "official" address were we able to bypass this screen and obtain a OnePass number. It took a number of attempts and was quite frustrating. |
When I book within 3 hours on co.com it asks me to call we support at some point along the process. I finished a trip and yet to receive 5.00 in my gift account. Did get my 25.00 voucher when i canceled a purchase using gift account funds in two weeks so that was a pleasant surprise. I hope to use said voucher and discount coupon on next trip due to the fact it came from said gift account.

Onepass Reward Upgrade at Booking
I was starting to make a resedrvation for next month CLE-DUB, EDI-CLE and noticed H fares at $200 more than discount. Decided to search for upgradeable BF seats.
I searched for CLE-DUB (7/14), EDI-CLE (7/21) and selected the checkbox for OnePass Reward Upgrade. The next screen displays the following: ! We could not process your request. Please see the message below and make revisions. ! Due to the cities in your itinerary and the OnePass Mileage Upgrade rules, only one flight may be upgraded at a time. Please select one flight to upgrade below. You will have the opportunity to select additional flight for this trip in Manage Reservations once your flight purchase is complete. Once at that screen no matter if you check each destination individually it repeats the same message. Selecting no flights to upgrade then presents the following message: ! We could not process your request. Please see the message below and make revisions. ! Please select at least one flight for upgrades. So you are stuck with the cancel button at that screen. Selecting it takes you back to the make a flight reservation to start the entire reservation over. :td: Tried it in both Netscape and IE. |
Few things...
1. Waitlist for mileage upgrades does lots of bad things, as has been reported previously. However, please know that the effects remain even after the waitlist is canceled. For example, if you attempt to change flights after the waitlist has expired, co.com still searches only for award tickets. 2. Confirmed standby: standby segment as well as future unflown segments move to "past." The entire itinerary becomes unviewable by any means (including OLCI) at the moment the "current" segment is within one hour. Specifics: sjc-ewr changed to sjc-iah-ewr (noon departure). At 10:58 or so, I did olci. At 11:01 I tried to review the seat assignment for the iah-ewr segment (7:05 departure) using OLCI but was unable - even using the e-ticket number. Message was that there were no valid flights. The entire itinerary moved to, "past." I was able to view the record using conf # and name, but couldn't save it to my account. 3. OLCI at pda.continental.com: as noted in an earlier post, the seat assignment page when not changing seats might change anyway. Let me add that under certain circumstances (none of which are clear to me), you just get the last seat (highest number, highest row) no matter what you select. Going back and re-selecting the correct seat fixes the problem (as long as no one snagged it in the meantime). 4. CLEHillbilly: it's been documented that the online upgrade is domestic only. I would expect a better error message. |
I too ran into the new Onepass account error today signing up a colleague. It would be nice if that was fixed.... how irritating!!!

PLEASE fix the open jaw viewing iten issue. Most of my flights are open jaw and this is ANNOYING.
|
I've been informed the open jaw fix will be updated this weekend.

Can't get info on PCs
Not a booking issue, but when you click for info on an individual PC (e.g., "Amsterdam, Netherlands (AMS)) you get the "We're sorry" message

BillMeLater/Reservation web issue/AVOD 757 movie list
Here's one. I made a reservation over the phone for a CO flight with partner segments EWR-EDI(on KLM:EDI-AMS-ARN)-EWR.
Couple of things. 1. Tried to use billmelater as the payment option for an on hold phone reservation. It is not available. Rep says you cannot use this as a payment option for reservations on hold. Tried via the web as well and the option is unavailable. This has happened a number of times to me. 2. After I flew my KLM segments my reservation mysteriously disappeared from CO.COM. It shows only the receipt under "past reservation" even though I still have remaining segments. I am only able to view the reservation via confirm# & last name. 3. More a question than anything else. I'm going on an AVOD 757 flight in BF from ARN-EWR. There is no listing of movies on the CO site for AVOD equipt systems. It's a great feature, terrifc selling point and should be promoted more. 4. One last thing. In EDI (and a few other Europe airports) there are shared ticket counter facilities. The boarding passes printed out at these stations do not contain any Skyteam Elite status. I was turned back at the gate when I tried to preboard with the rest of the elites. Only the production of a Skyteam elite card (which was in my checked luggage-DOH!) permits preboarding. Thanks for the help COinsider. Most appreciative of all your efforts! |
WRT reservations, I cannot view a res that I have a waitlisted segment on (Scott, its the ZRH trip you guys helped me with).
