A couple of additions to the Rev-Up page that I recently discovered first-hand.

The Rev-up can be confirmed, for elites, starting 24 hours prior to your FIRST segment on the itinerary. I.e., if you are connecting via EWR, IAH or HNL you will have an advantage in snagging the upgrade.

Rev-ups do NOT show as upgrades on the PDA website.

One question I have that was not resolved by this first-hand experience: Will the Rev-up fee allow an upgrade of the domestic connecting flight, subject to availability (in Z class)? In this case, the passengers (both Silvers) cleared EUA at about 24 1/2 hrs before departure on the connecting flight into IAH, so it was a moot point for this trip.

Sorry...I thought I had done this one already. I'll do it now.

To answer the bits I know from my recent experience, through-passengers DO get their additional flights upgraded, subject to the availability. At least that is how I understood it when the agent was reading the GG REVUP bit to me over the phone. And I definitely did not show on the website.

A post has been added about checked baggage fees and rules and allowances. I think that it is mostly accurate, but there are probably some things I screwed up. If you find any please post here or let me know.

End of minimum miles after Jan. 1, 2009

Effective for travel on or after Jan. 1, 2009, OnePass members will earn the actual miles flown rather than a minimum of 500 miles per flight for tickets purchased on or after Nov. 15, 2008. This affects base miles and Elite Qualifying Miles on flights operated by Continental and most OnePass airline partners. OnePass Elite members are exempt from this change.

Tickets purchased prior to Nov. 15, 2008, will earn a minimum of 500 miles on segments flown regardless of travel date

The cardholder exemption? CO-branded debit/credit cards waive the first bag, no?

OnePass miles reconciliation with KLM

Just wondering if anybody knows what is the miles reconcilation process for OnePass miles retro-claim on travels made on KLM/Air France operated flight?

Specifically, how does OnePass tell KLM/Air France that a OnePass member submitted a retro-claim on travels made on KLM flight? There was no frequent flyer membership submitted at reservation or at check-in. All these reconcilation process seems very complex between these airline alliances and I wonder how airlines ensures no errors occur in these retro-claim processes.

Yeah...that needs to be added in now. I'll do that shortly.

Are you trying to claim OnePass miles or FlyingBlue miles? Assuming you are trying to claim OnePass miles you have to send in your boarding passes and ticket receipt and fill out a form. CO will validate the claim with the other carrier and credit the miles as appropriate.

We don't actually have a post currently in the FAQ about 500 mile minimums at all, so there isn't really somewhere to update this information. I suppose I could add it to a post or write a new one if folks think it is worthwhile.

IIRC that is one of the new 738s that was just delivered and which will be getting LiveTV in Q2 '09.

The ships that are new from Boeing (738s/739s), without entertainment, will be the first ships to get LiveTV, IIRC.

I was just thinking that the CO FAQ should be updated with the ship numbers that have power.
