FWIW, ZE tracks very closely to Z so tracking Z should give you a very good idea of whether ZE is available or not.
It is also worth noting that if you bought a B fare on a different carrier that might not actually map to B on Continental. Most notably is that Copa still uses the old fare structure where H is the second highest bucket and B is just a mid-level fare. |
I asked this question slightly differently in a different thread, so those who have seen the question, please bare with me: On CO, what are the PRACTICAL differences between their F, J, D, and C fares (besides price)?
(They all earn the exact same mileage, and from what I understood, though not much, they all seem to have the same refund, cancellation, change policies...) |

The rules on those fares are generally quite different with respect to things like refundability, changes, advance purchase, etc. Just as explained in the other thread. ;) Any reason you're not continuing the line of questioning in that other thread? |

lol, thanks sbm12. The reason I didn't continue it there was because you are one of the only people on all of FT to be able to answer question, no matter where I post them. If I remember correctly, I think you have answered all but one question I have ever asked. Seriously, you're the man! :D So for the rest of the "commonfolk", I figured this was a more centralized thread where a lot more people would see it than in a thread I started myself.
sbm12 can be voted "most knowledgeable person" (MKP??) on FT... at the CO forum at least! |
Post #48 should be updated
References to the Continental Travel Club should be changed to the continental.com Club.

Anyone know the seat pitch in rows 16, 31, and 32 in Y on 777?

Dear CO folks, not sure where to post this question. But, perhaps an issue to add somewhere on the FAQ.
I purchased a ticket on UA.com for a US-operated flight (UA codeshare). Will I earn CO miles? I am guessing the answer is YES. However, there are no mention of codeshares and mile-earning potential on co.com Seems like a real simple question. But couldnt find the answer. Thanks. |

You will earn based on the US fare bucket that the UA fare you purchased maps into. There isn't a published list of what maps to what that I've seen but coach is coach and first has levels within it. You also earn elite bonus RDMs based on the US schedule, not the UA schedule. That matters for Gold elites. |
Thanks SBM12!
Luckily, the fares map out to a mileage-earning one on US. It was one of those situations where a US flight was lot cheaper to buy on UA.bomb |
Has the FAQ been updated with the new day-of-travel mileage waitlist policy listed in the following thread:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/conti...june-17th.html or has the policy from that thread been overridden by some subsequent policy? Thanks! |
For the section of GG/other helpful codes
Can we add the command for printing flight histories found here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/13569899-post9.html And the correct commands to allow standby for an eariler flight without removing exisitng seating assignments found here: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/13566297-post8.html |
