Also, i wanna join the party bus from BCN to our final destination if there is room. Or, if anyone would like to hang around bcn for the afternoon before leaving together for And in the early evening, that would be good for me too.

+1 on joining the convoy out of BCN

fwiw, if my plans stay as they are I'll be arriving in BCN on Wed 10/28 and will just be wandering the streets and seeing the sights.

jenniparks: Mr. taking flight and I will be on your flight from IAD to MAD (unfortunately in Y). Maybe we can arrange to meet at IAD before boarding. We are also on the party route to BCN with the rest of the wild JFK-MAD bunch. It seems like there will be a lot of us on the bus from BCN to Andorra--will there be enough room for all of us?

There's around 6 busses per day (or even more if you consider taking the one with stopovers), 40 seats available per bus, so I really hope there's enough room for all of you! otherwise I just quit!

Booked

Flights are booked, so I am confirmed. Still looking for someone that wants to share a room since we will be spending very little time there, but I will go my own if I don't find someone.

Jenni, I have a ton of study books/resources if you want to borrow any. Also beginners' CDs and dictionaries.

My Spanish is non existent, if French is understood I can well make a fool of myself.

Google "FSI language" and you will find lots of language courses including Spanish. Unfortunately the text for the introduction is missing. I have been meaning to do this for years but you know how it goes.

Well m'dear, I can make a fool of myself in both languages... if we both try together, does that mean we'll be thrown out?

You mean they don't speak no American in Andorra?! Well that's it. I ain't coming no more.

Very little English spoken. Catalan is the official language, though Spanish and French are widely spoken and understood. We have a number of Spanish-speakers amongst us, so don't worry about being caught out!

We're testing the web site this week and waiting for two more pieces of information. Once we have them, it goes live and everyone can start making it officially official!

and you can't pay in bush pesos either (maybe in some places you can, but they will insist in giving you the change in euros)...but there's a KFC, maybe that will make you feel closer to home

What? You can be a bigger fool than me? Not fair. I want to be #1 at something. :)

I'm in!

I just had dinner with flugvergnugen on Saturday night here in Munich. He mentioned this DO that I hadn't seen yet!

I just snagged an impossibly low flight and I'm coming! At this point it's just me, but I'll see if the rest of the family wants to join in too!

The bad part is I have to fly back to Munich on Sunday because my work doesn't observe the holiday on Monday.

great! I will be in Y also. I'm a skyteam member so i've no status with whatever alliance AA/Iberia/LAN is in. Well, that's slightly untrue- I have 18000km stacked up with LAN from Peru trip last year (they credited my miles 2x).
Is it true that Iberia, unlike LAN, AF, and most other airlines does *not* give announcements in english as well as spanish?

I'd be happy to meet you at IAD before boarding. Your lounge or mine? :)
