I think Iberia's announcements were in both languages, 99% sure... connections in MAD are a breeze.
Here are some basic words...

Feliz Noche de Brujas! (Happy Halloween!)
Me llamo XYZ y estoy juntado millas... My name is XYZ and I am collecting miles :p

Is it true that Iberia, unlike LAN, AF, and most other airlines does *not* give announcements in english as well as spanish?

If you can understand this IB announcement, you will be fine:

If not, then be afraid. Very afraid.

Party Plane MAD-BCN IB 6740 Alert!

For all those on the party plane from JFK-MAD-BCN, double check your emails... I just got an alert from Iberia saying that the IB 6740 flight that was supposed to leave MAD for BCN at noon on October 30th has been canceled/Service not available. I was rebooked on IB 6764 which leaves at 11:45 AM. Not the end of the world, but just wanted to alert other FT who might be on the flight!

For some reason, a Spain/France/Germany pass at the end of Boo doo sounds like a great idea. :D
