I just have not pulled the trigger on the payment. The dollar was floating upwards, so I am being patient. Plus I can't decide what mileage earning card to use.

Who else is dreading the bus ride from BCN? alanw, can't you send your helicopter for us?

I sent my payment for the hotel. In the next day or so I will decide which activity option for Sat I wish to sign up for. Looking forward to the trip.

There's a company that'll do a Helicopter ride from (near) Barcelona to Andorra (return trip) for €2,100 (max 3 passengers) plus €850 per day for 'waiting' in Andorra! The three of me (:o:p:cool:) will fill one up - anybody else want one?

But I'm still looking for a company who'll do Hotel(Hilton/BCN)-to-Hotel(BD6/Andorra) for a more reasonable price (larger chopper, maybe).

But if, like me, you don't really want to take the local bus (the natives may not know how to behave in the presence of my Imperialness ;)), there's always the private-hire (air-con) minibuses I mentioned some posts ago: if there's enough interest, I can arrange such a hire and collect 'fares' on the bus (I'll bring my special uniform and ticket clipper)!

A private hire minibus from BCN airport to the hotel in Andorra may be just the ticket for those of us on the party plane from JFK. There's probably enough of us on that flight alone to fill up a minibus. Any idea of the cost Henry? The copter is just a tad bit out of my price range, you know, bad economy and all.;)

I didn't realize there'd be cheapskates at the party! :p

Depending on numbers, it maybe possible to arrange a pick up at both city-centre and the airport, or possibly just two buses. So the party-plane gang versus the city-stopovers in a Catalan variation of the "Whacky Races!" :D (Now trying to work out how to express Mutley-style aspirated laughter on FT!)

Bus service directly from Barcelona El Prat (BCN) to Andorra... seems to be €31 a head... 52 € RT :D

I'm returning to BCN Sunday afternoon, since the AA JFK flight leaves at 11 .. gotta enjoy my last night in Barcelona ;)

Flights are booked arriving Tuesday before BooDoo. Will head to Andorra sometime Friday, so I might be interested in the bus.

Also, the hotel room is booked in Andorra, activities selected and paid for. Basically all in with the walk on Saturday as my option. Leaving back to BCN sometime Monday for the Tuesday flight back to JFK.

My own (ideal) plans are to travel Barcelona-Andorra on Friday 30th (leaving around midday) and return Monday 2nd Nov (back to Barcelona City), but I'm sure there are many who'll just do direct a Airport-Andorra r/t.

Anyway, it seems that the price for r/t is €741 for up to 7 pax; after that, the price goes up to €931 (didn't check the max pax but for 15 it's €1,000+).

If we can get 5/6/7 folks wanting the Friday/Monday cycle, I'd be happy to contact the company and arrange it. If there's an invasion force coming on the party plane wanting a bigger bus, feel free to check out the website below; and we may still be able to work out some sort of multi-pick-up-point option! (Obviously, the more folks, the cheaper it works out per person!)

Ideal plans for myself would be a transfer directly (or with a stop in city center to pick up fellow FTers) from BCN - Andorra on Friday when the party plane arrives about 1:00pm. Then a return from Andorra to Barcelona city on Sunday - maybe about noon or so to do some sightseeing. Then I'll find my own way back to the airport on Monday morning.

I think putting together a bus full of folks to Andorra won't be an issue but I'm not sure how many people are planning on returning on Sunday. My guess is that most will hang in Andorra until at least Monday.

Any Sunday return people out there?

I'm on the party plane IB6252 (JFK-MAD) and IB6764 from MAD-BCN, which lands around 1 PM.. Iberia keeps changing the MAD-BCN portion of the flight... :rolleyes: so a direct bus to Andorra would be great! :D also returning to Barcelona on Sunday afternoon:)

I get in around 2 pm, sans luggage, so if you can wait for me, I'll hop on the bus.

I arrive into BCN Fri 30 Oct 14:20 , so would like a bus transfer that afternoon
I can return to BCN either on Sunday or Monday, as I have an EARLY flight out Tues AM.
