that people is just hilarious!
but for the record, the supossedly Andorra's prime minister is actually our foreign affairs minister! There's got to be little footage on Andorra's government members as they usually don't have anything important to say :-)

Hey alanw, I believe somewhere I read that parking at the hotel might be free. Is that still the case?

Parking space in Andorra is priced in gold & diamonds. There's no such thing as free parking almost anywhere. You get 1 hour free in the public (government funded) parkings.

In our stay at the Andorra Park in december they charged something like 20€/day for the parking.

Seems to be relatively close to the main Hotel... I'm seeing daily rates of 56 Euros, plus about 2-4 euros in Taxes. I'm slightly broke due to all the good deals, so it's tempting... the Andorra Park Hotel looks really nice but they haven't modified their prices at all... :(

and for those who are driving.. Daily Parking Fee: 20,50 € (EUR)

As your hosts have negotiated a rate at this hotel, why would you expect a change to their prices? I'd think it's as simple as take the deal offered or select another hotel on your own. Isn't it?

relax!
trust me, I really appreciate the effort that the hosts have done so far putting this all together, especially the list of social activities, etc. :)

I was simply pointing out what another poster had referenced, alternative housing options and that the Andorra Park (either the negotiated rate or regular hotel rate) unlike other hotels in the area, hadn't adjusted fares over the past few weeks. Not sure what hotel option I'll take... for me its always been more about the enjoying the destination than caring about where I sleep at night ;)

So this is why you're looking at the Crowne Plaza? How young are you?

24... I'm looking for a cheap room ... after all these travels, weekends in Rio and Lima, the Iberia deals to Paris , and LAN deal to EZE... travel is the highest component of my budget... more than food and closing on housing :D

http://www.tripadvisor.com/Hotel_Rev..._la_Vella.html
reviews are ok, IHG friends and family discount gets the room down to 47 euros a night... more money for duty free booze...

Dude if cheap booze is so important you should just save the flights and pick up some Boone's Farm at home.
