Hello, party-goers! A few bits of information and an important announcement:

- We're headed up to Andorra on Monday to seal the deal (as it were) and will return packing the finalized menus for Friday and Saturday dinners. As if you were worried I wouldn't put on a good feed. :)

- We'll have the current list of confirmed and unconfirmed attendees posted by Tuesday as well.

IMPORTANT: I updated the first post to reflect this but it bears repeating here: if you want to pay by credit card you need to do so by 30 August as it takes two months to collect from the CC company and get the US-drawn check cleared through a European bank. After 30 August you'll need to pay by wire transfer or PayPal.

Just a few remarks on alanw's latest announcement:

- We have to secure the hotel rooms by September 1st. This means that after that date the hotel doesn't guarantee to keep the group rate we got. On this date, we will send the hotel a room list with the people registered and confirmed, and we will have to pay inmediately for that. We will do our best to get everybody into the group rate, but if someone confirms their hotel booking after this date, we can't assure they'll mantain the rate they've given us.

- Some people has registered for the BooDoo activities, but they haven't registered for the official hotel. We assume they're staying in some other hotel in the city. Please, if you've done so, PM me and alanw with your hotel booking details, so we can keep track of it and make sure you get your BooDoo welcome pack in the hotel as you check-in.

- Some other people has only registered for the hotel, not registering for any of the dinners or the activities proposed. We assume that there may have been a mistake in the registration process, because what's the point of coming all the way here if you don't want to go to the social events and spend time with such a lovely group of FT'ers! Please check your registrations and make sure everything you wanted to do is in it.

- This BooDoo includes way more activities than a normal FT Do does, and the organization of it involves a lot of work if you want everything to be just perfect (as we certainly do!). This is the reason why we're recurring to the prepayment option this year, and last minute additions will not be an option. Please keep that in mind when registering, as after September 30th no changes or additions will be allowed.

Nothing else right now...as alanw stated before, keep posted for details on the menus and the venues as we'll be climbing up the Pirynees next monday to close the deals (and also taking some pictures so you all can see how great they are beforehand!)

A: The Monday side trip will be a 10 AM - 2 PM thing, so you doo have plenty of time to go back to BCN on that same day!

schedule change for boo doo flights ex USA- anyone on my new flights?
 

So my friend and I were traveling IAD-MAD-BCN RT for boo-doo and were going to have the pleasure of flying with at least FT couple on the iad-mad leg and a whole bunch of you on the mad-bcn leg.

Sadly, Iberia has wiped out the direct flights from WAS to MAD so we had to reroute. First choice was through jfk to be on the party plane with the rest of you, but although that flight had space, the only logical connecting flight from mad-bcn at 12:45pm was full so that was a no go. Here is what we ended up with, as shown below. I am hoping that someone out there is on some of these flight legs with us? Let me know...

I think a few FT are on the 10:45 and 11:45 flights..
Iberia just changed my ticket AGAIN , putting me on the 10:45 AM, seems like a tight connection when landing at 10:15 :rolleyes:

I should be paying my BooDoo bill later this week... :D

Iberia did the same thing to me- put me on the jfk flight that gets into mad at 1015am and then the outgoing mad-bcn that leaves at 1045am. obviously that connection is not possible given you have to process through customs. and like i said, all flights from mad-bcn after 11am on the 30th are booked solid so you won't be able to get on them. not sure what's going to happen to you, unless they route you jfk-ord-mad-bcn and you can fly with me. :)

I spoke with Iberia and learned that AA 151 sold as a codeshare IB 7085 changed from a 757L back to a 763.... I had to speak to three different agents in English and Spanish to get my emergency exit row seat back... I love those seats :D :D... 21A on the return...

now what to do with the Puente Aereo, no more seats on the 11:45 departure... 30 min connection is tight, I know we had a few people on the "party plane" , also wondering about the bump opportunities... :rolleyes::)
