Interesting Andorra fact of the week: Andorra has zero percent unemployment.
OK some last minute event updates! First, we got confirmation that we did indeed oversell the spa day (crap communication from those guys). We ran over the available slots back on June 10. If you reserved after that date, we'll contact you in the next day or so to offer an alternative or a refund. Second, it seems that nobody is interested in archery. Likewise if you reserved the horseback ride we'll be contacting you in the next day or so to offer an alternative or refund. That's it! Remember there's less than two weeks left to finalize your registration/payment, and less than two weeks left to cancel! See you soon! |
My in- and outbound flight to BCN are both cancelled. I tried various connection, but nothing works fine. So I am not able to make it. See you hopefully next time. :(

My Plans
I arrive from Zurich (hard to fly direct from MSP to anywhere on UA or AA miles) on Thursday 1400. I hope to catch up with some of you on the bus to Andorra...or not...I will want the few extra hours of sleep too. Flyertalker tags on at least one of my suitcases.
I plan on busing down to BCN on Sunday to dodge pickpockets and see a bit of the city. I fly out of BCN on Monday afternoon 1430 to Paris. If anyone wants to meet up in BCN and/or Paris, please PM me. |

I've been to BCN twice this year, if you use some common sense/street sense, you'll be safe... the hookers on las ramblas are crazy (as in attacking people / actively hunting for clients), but make for some great stories...

I'll pass on the hookers. I don't need the toaster or the crabs.

help with party plane and getting iberia to cooperate
Hey guys. If you remember, last month, Iberia did a schedule change- wiped out the direct flight from DC to mad and vice versa and so i was forced into a schedule change. I picked the party plane from jfk-mad and mad-bcn after a connection from dc to ny but even though it showed available on iberia.com and even though many of you were successful in booking it AFTER i called iberia, when i spoke to iberia [twice] they insisted those flights were full.
They forced me to route through chicago instead. Gah. They've now made another schedule change which will open me up to being allowed to reroute again and this time I WANT JFK. I see clearly on the website that flights out of nyc are still available. In fact there seem to be two- 6254 and 6252. First question is, which one is the one everyone is on aka party plane? Second question is HOW DO I GET IBERIA PHONE REPS TO GIVE ME THE RESERVATION when they keep insisting its full? Do i need to conference call in one of you spanish speaking folks first because they (according to some FTers) give you preferential treatment? Help! :) |
Just got back from the GAYLA in Munich. We had a ridiculous time. I'm excited that many of the attendees are also coming to the Boo Doo. The 5 weeks between events will give our livers just enough time to recover. Looking forward to more drinks and boys in Andorra!

I'm signed up!
Now that my official duties as host of the Oktoberfest GAYLA DO are finally finished, I have time to catch up with everything else in my life!
Dragonfirebcn reminded me when I saw him this weekend to PAY for the Andorra DO. I've been so crazy that I haven't looked at this thread for a couple of months. So I'm signed up and paid! I look forward to seeing all that I know and meeting everyone else! |
Interesting Andorra fact of the week: Andorra has the highest life expectancy in the world (about 86 years).
