Sorry, just to clarify: I was confused about when I'm arriving in BCN and leaving for Andorra (addled wits, I feel, but no chemical excuse - yet). As it happens, I'm leaving for Andorra on the 30th (which seems to be the day most others are). I just checked my booking (good for the HHonors website) and I'm staying 2 nights in BCN on the way out (arriving late night Wed 28th).
I guess I'll make my way to the city's bus terminal and look for folks with BOO DOO hats on! But, if anyone's interested, maybe there'll be something we can do together in Barcelona on the 29th ... ideas include ... becoming group pick-pocket/mugging victims (:eek:) ... taunting the locals by making overt references to "Fawlty Towers" (:p although I've heard that when the TV series was shown in Spain, Manuel was from Mexico, rather than Barcelona) ... oh, and just plain drinking, more drinking and even more drinking (interspersed with a modicum of Tapas munchies) (:D:cool::D). -- H 2.5 |

-- H I also have to aware all FT'ers that there's no lounge in the bus station, no pre-boarding, and no HH cards accepted :D For those looking to reach elite level everywhere they go, I strongly suggest you join BUS PLUS. As for the seats availability, right now the 13:00 bus is showing 32 seats available, all in Y. Seat pre-assignment available. You can book your tickets right now at ALSA website(I suggest you take an open return ticket, that way you can jump into any bus in Andorra on your way back). For those coming from the airport, pre-booking of bus tickets is also possible from DIRECTBUS and NOVATEL. There's 2 busses departing at 3PM from T1. No seat pre-assignment allowed. If you're spending a few days in BCN after the doo, don't buy a RT. You can buy your return to BCN center once in Andorra. For those coming in the party plane and knowing IB will change the schedules 3 times more before 10/30, or those in a pretty tight arrival schedule and high risk of missing the 3PM bus *cough*PHLbuddy*cough*, I strongly suggest you think in grouping and hiring private transportation on your way up. I know someone menctioned something about a van hiring somewhere in the thread, so you may want to get in contact with that person and ask for the arrangements. Otherwise, PM me and depending on the number of interested passengers, I can check your options. Please be aware that this private service will be all in a sort of KL Europe Select, which means you'll pay more for your seat, you may not have someone sitting next to you, but theres no pre-boarding, no seat pre-assignment and you still have to pay for your own booze. |
