Long-range forecast is calling for light rain, temps between 6 and 15. Bring a jacket. :)

Thanks for the forecast. I'm not forgetting gloves for the bike either.

Also can someone recommend an obvious meeting point at BCN. It's been a while since I was there. I'm arriving from MAD on IB6252, my son is arriving from DUS on an LH flight - scheduled to land 10 minutes earlier? Thanks.

You will be arriving to the new T1, so the best meeting point there is the information point in the arrivals hall. Once you exit the luggage concourses you'll see an isle right in the middle of the hall.

Strange stuff from a Chicago guy. That forecast sounds like high summer down by their lake. They don't put on gloves around there until the first white-out. ;)

PM will be sent to dragonfirebcn to let him know that there will be three more of us (BOB W, Franny, and me) on the 1300 bus from Sants. There was a post somewhere that the drivers frowned on drinking and eating. Therefore we will sit more toward the back and use our corkscrews covertly. :D

A couple of years ago someone suggested me that I just may be warmer if I zipped my coat up. Too much effort for too little reward. :)

I don't trust forecasters and I froze in Hawaii once.
I'm beginning to finalize my BCN departure plans.

If anyone knows how to use a corkscrew covertly it is you. :D

Well, I've worked it out now. Guardia Civil will help justforfun and me get up to Andorra in his rent a car. Not a MINUTE of the open bar will be wasted.

Crisis adverted.

I knew you could figure it out!

IB strike / cancellations

Not sure if this directly affects anyone, as it supposedly occurs on Monday and Tuesday only.. but there will be plenty of flight cancellations early next week.

Details here: http://tiny.cc/VGD46

I guess flights on Wed/Thurs will be very full as a result -- don't miss your connection!

I'm flying out on Thursday 10/29, as are many on the "party plane", does Iberia offer Op-Ups to OneWorld Emeralds? :D ;)

It seems there will be a few of us in BCN Thursday night, so I'm working on a reservation at Bestiari.

Reservation will be in the 9 - 10 pm timeframe and I'm limiting the table size to 12. 5 seats are already spoken for... so speak up if you'd like to join us :)

Oh yes, there WILL be foie.

Confirmed: Event is full!

Methinks mayhaps someone has been in the Malbec already:D

Reservations for twelve with thirteen (maybe 15 depending on how many show up as Henry III) already confirmed.....

Have you never heard of a bakers dozen? Sheesh!

I made a couple of exceptions after the fact. so we are now a full party of 14 (counting belle and only 1 of the Henrys)
