My TH was hoping someone could pick up two books for her from the UK. I will gladly pay you in the currency of your choice.

PM me if you have a spare books worth of room in your kit.

That's a good idea! Can everybody arriving on Friday post their arrival info? I'm starting to worry about late flights and late busses and people not making it to the tapas & wine event which is now scheduled for 8pm!

Mr. Taking Flight and I are on the 11:45 flight from MAD, arriving BCN at 12:55. That means we'll miss the 1 p.m. bus to Andorra. I'm also concerned about a late arrival and missing the 8 pm event. We're still open to hiring private transportation if a few more people would join us. Let me know and I can make the arrangements.

The 3pm bus from the airport will get you there in plenty of time for the 8pm event... its those who won't make it til the 515pm bus that are at risk.

Booked the 1300 bus. Rumor has it that md has a large box from Rimarts that MUST be consumed before the festivities start in Andorra ;)

I arrive on SpanAir at 15:15 and will be on the 17:15 bus which I have yet to book.

We're down in Cinque Terre this week. WOW. Stunningly beautiful. I can't wait to see Andorra in less than two weeks!

I'm on the same IB flight.. looks like I'll be on the 3pm bus, although it would be nice if the IB flight arrived early. Shocking, perhaps.

IMPORTANT UPDATE - HOTEL CHECK-IN ON 10/30 (and other stuff)

Hello Everyone,

We're almost 1 week away from the starting event of this year's Boo Doo! yay! So, we need to finalize details.

A few things to consider:

- Andorra Park Hotel has contacted me today to ask about aprox. check-in times for the group. They want to make sure they have the proper amount of people on the check-in desk to give us a decent 5* service as we deserve (and paid for!). I would really appreciate if everybody PM me with their expected arrival time to Andorra la Vella!!!. If you already posted it on the thread, please PM me with the info again so I don't have to go searching on the thread. I'll be in a pretty tight schedule for the next two weeks (including a couple of trips to MAD, deadlines and so on), so having all the information in just one place will help me a lot.

- Caldea Club Experience people: expect a PM from me later today! I have some important news to share with you regarding the treatment of choice (all good news though!)

- For all the BooDoo'ers: expect an email later this week with your welcome pack including all the details of the weekend. We'll include a dossier with venues, hotels, addresses, maps, and the list of activities you registered for. And there'll be nametags available for friday night (sorry SeeYa). No nametags for saturday night though...the venue of choice is very trendy-chic, and we don't want to look tacky, do we?

That's all for now...
See you all next week!!!!

hauteboy Oct 20, 2009 10:12 am

Mrs. hauteboy and I are on IB6274 ORD-MAD-BCN arriving 10:20.. so we just miss the early bus. Not sure I want to wait around a few hrs at the airport and I'm still debating renting a car (I want to visit Llivia on the way to Andorra or back).

also sent via PM:
I'm on the party plane IB 6252 leaving JFK at 22:05 landing at MAD at 10:15 and connecting to IB 6766 landing in BCN @ 13:55. I will be taking the 3 PM bus from the airport. :D

Yo, my guest and I are on the same plane as you MAD-BCN (except ours is labeled 6734 but gets in at the same time...i think it's the same plane)...

Can you give me the link you used to make the bus reservations for 3pm? We want to be on that one with you.

I'm so worried about you missing 1 hour of open bar :D

Another important thing...

I almost forgot...as you may already be thinking about how to optimize luggage space, I have some news that may lead you to take important decitions.

Did you take a look of those pictures of that amazing remote-controlled-chromotherapy-jacuzzi we have in our bedrooms in the official hotel? Well, the only thing that has always dissapointed me there is that bath salts, bath oils or bubble baths are not included in their amenity kit (or either for sale, unless you go to their SPA and buy the whole jar of salts...), and I'd always forgotten to bring my own stuff from home.

So, if you're thinking about using that amazing bath (believe me, totally worth it), and you have some spare Bliss sample from your last W adventure (or any other brand of your choice), I strongly suggest you put it into your suicase right now. Option #2 will be to buy some nice stuff in Andorra (plenty of places to do so) and take advantage of the duty-freeness of that little country :D
