FYI Missy, you'll get in. ;)

Sadly I will be attending to last-minute Doo-related program activities. N.b., there is a fabulous new hammam that opened just around the corner from Bestiari. http://www.airedebarcelona.com/ - excellent for a before-dinner relaxer.

We are, of course, in for Bestiari. We are getting in late on Tuesday and will start to come up for air about midday Wednesday.

*Bestiari doesn't accept reservations until 1 week before, so this is contingent on our being able to get in.

the locals will have likely had enough of us before the weekend is over... no need to add to their pain ;) But they have of course been invited :)

The local will be in dutch lesson until 9 PM, where he'll have to go with his suitcase as right after that he'll be heading down to Sitges to pick up some very important bottles, check welcome packs, stress up a little and sleep early as the objective is to leave towards Andorra first thing in the morning in order to make sure everything is just perfect at everybody's arrival.

The local will manage to find his way to Bestiari some other day, as it is actually located 3 streets away from his house.

As for the seats availability, right now the 13:00 bus is showing 32 seats available, all in Y. Seat pre-assignment available. You can book your tickets right now at ALSA website(I suggest you take an open return ticket, that way you can jump into any bus in Andorra on your way back).

I just checked out the ALSA website and there doesn't seem to be a 13:00 bus. There's two busses at 15:00, though! Is there a problem with the website (it also seems to have departure/arrival mixed up on the itinerary) ... maybe they have the same web programmers as AFKL :)

Weird...I just checked and not only I'm able to get the 13.00H Barcelona (Spain) - Andorra (Andorra) bus, but also I'm able to tell you that it's showing now 42 seats availavle (F0 J0 Y9 :D) and 2 seats booked, probably by a FT'er as they are exit row seats :D

The two busses at 15:00H are a non-stop one (going through the Cadí tunnel, 3h15m travel) and a regular one (going above the mountain, stopping in little towns, 4h30m travel).

maybe you're clicking where you don't have to?

Henry III Oct 6, 2009 6:58 am

Weird indeed, dfb! I just tried again (clicking this time on "purchase tickets") and, after a very slow response, I got the 13:00 bus and even the seat plan! ^

But now, I fill in all the details, only to be confronted with "Card not Valid!"

Maybe I'll send them an email, or give them a call!

There's no 13:00 bus on the return. Maybe that's what you're looking at?

No! I took "the local's" advice and went for an open return. All I have to do now is get my payment to be accepted! Possibly, I can send them loose gold bullion by DHL.

14. Purchasing Process

For commercial reasons, not all routes covered by ALSA can be purchased on the Internet.

Tickets cannot be booked on the Internet, only purchase is permitted.

For International Routes, only tickets for routes departing from Spain can be purchased.

After selecting your seat in step 3, until you click the "pay" button on the payment page, you will have 20 minutes to complete the operation.

Only after entering your credit or debit card number and its date of expiry and clicking on "Pay" will the purchase be completed, and the corresponding amount charged.

Once the purchasing process is complete, click on "print" and print the ticket that will appear on the screen. If this is not possible, make a note of the ticket number or the reference number of the transaction, and keep it in a safe place, as it is your travel guarantee.

If the ticket is for an international route the passenger must go the sales desk and ask for the ticket to be issued. Failure to do so will mean that the passenger may not travel and will not be entitled to any reimbursement whatsoever.

In international routes, children under 16 must be accompanied by a legally authorized adult.

Young people aged between 16 and 18 need a passport and police authorization to travel.

- Purchase of more than one ticket. To facilitate the printing of several tickets, you can use the single transaction reference number when you ask for the tickets to be issued at the Alsa sales desk at the station of departure.

Improper use of this application will give rise to the corresponding liability, if it can be proven that the person acted with malicious intent or negligently.

15. Methods of Payment

Payment by credit or debit card such as Visa, 4B and Mastercard and the BUS Plus purse card are the only methods of payment accepted on www.alsa.es.
