I just noticed this thread and I think it is very well introduced. I went to the 1st or 2nd Boo Doo as I recall, but I also recall not really having much time to meet people.

But I wonder, are any of the attendees also planning on doing the big LH Do that starts Nov 3rd? I could see hitting this Do, then flying to FRA from BCN for the LH DO and making it a monster week long and then some Do.

If I do only this Do, I would drive from home, but if I try to do both I would have to take the train. Hmmmm

That's what Mr. 999 and I are doing. We will probably spend a few days in BCN before this DO and then fly to FRA for the *A DO after. May or may not spend a few days in MUC after *A DO.

I'm debating whether to head back to Barcelona after the Spa event... book a cheap hostel and party the last night in Barcelona... :p at the good old Hostel Kabul in Barcelona :D

the whole 11 AM flight thing makes it hard to stay in Andorra that last night...

I think several people were on the AA/Iberia codeshare to JFK... just wanted to know what people were planning on doing Sunday night... :D

I'll head back to BCN on 2 11 2009. The hotel is booked in Andorra.

I'm scheduled for that flight and I'm wondering what our options may be. Is there a bus that can take us from Andorra - BCN airport in a timely manner on Monday morning? Would it be better/easier to stay in Barcelona?

I'm actually hoping for a schedule change (even a minor change) to my ticket so that I can lengthen my stay by a few days. No luck so far.

My plan is to leave Andorra on Tuesday, to meet the Airbus DO in TLS, fly with everyone to FRA for LH DO, then home on the 9th (IIRC).

Being lazy, my current plan is to keep the (upgraded) AA ticket I have and fly to JFK on Tuesday, not continue on to SAN as scheduled, but hang around and fly back to FRA with the *A crowd. Crazy, but I think there would be no jet lag :eek: This is financially and physically wrong, so I need to get a spreadsheet going with miles vs money.

I was thinking of doing something similar. Fly back to NYC on Monday and then join the *A gang on Tuesday at EWR for the flight to FRA. I just have to figure out if I can be away from reality for so long. And if the *A gang will be as fun as the BOO DOO gang or will it just be a bunch of squares!

I too have a very nice award ticket BCN-JFK on Tuesday but have canned the idea of the *A mega trip. I will have been away since the 23rd, stopping in London on the way, and simply do not have the time.

It is likely, however, that I will find my way over to the new LH lounge to wish everybody well and have a bon voyage cocktail with them. :)
