The F-cabin flight attendant on my UA SFO-LAX flight yesterday morning noticed my tag and started chuckling - when I asked him how he knew what it was, he said "Everyone knows about FT."

He then proceeded to give me *excellent* and very personal service on the short flight. Very GTEMworthy ^

Aren't you afraid of outing yourself to UA?

Met redbeard911 two weeks ago in SFO. It was good to talk to another FT on a very trying day in the air.

The only FT’er I've met via the legendary yellow FT tag is Dianne47.

She and her husband were waiting at the Lahaina, Maui dock for the ferry to Lanai.

We ran across them several more times that weekend and I hope we see them at a future DO. Or maybe on the docks in Maui again.

In years of travelling, I have never spotted those high visible tags.

I just placed an order for my tag a minute ago...

With trips planned for October to Vegas and Chicago, and a possible Portland, Oregon adventure before that I'm bound to bump into someone.

I've run into 2 FTers when they spotted my FT tag - first was AJLondon in the FRA LH FCT and second was vielflieger on a DL SFO-CVG flight.

Sinoflyer saw my tags on a recent den-lax flight and introduced himself. He ended up joining myself and a group of FT'ers for dinner that evening.

Bumped in to iluv2fly at ORD yesterday.

Can you call it a luggage tag sightings if you actually recognize the Flyertalker first?

Also, the UA people know him too; or so I was told.

I met UAX@SFO last week in SFO (of course) - he spotted my tag. Didn't really get a chance to chat since he was busy working a gate.

Encounter #3 for me! * I was flying IAD-ORD on Monday and noticed the yellow FT tag of travelingman79 while we sat in luxurious comfort on the Dulles Mobile Lounge. I introduced myself, found out we were on the same flight and seated across the aisle from each other as well!

* I have also met jetsetter and exerda in airports

Yes they work. I was on ZRH-BKK on TG F two weeks ago and yvrguy recognised my luggage tag while deboarding.
This was the first time somebody recognized my tag.
