Thanksgiving 2006 I went to HKG. Coming home, on the way off the plane at ORD, I saw a yellow tag. I yelled "Hey, Flyertalk!" and that's the story of how I met Sunnyhere.

I tried the same approach in IAD once last year, but no luck; guess the guy didn't hear me. Oh well, his loss -- I'm a hottie!

(PS. Just kidding about the hottie part... but still his loss because I'm so much fun to talk to!)
That was me, jk. I don't turn around for female voices

Leaving AA 83 yesterday in Chicago, I spotted a FT luggage tag and was fortunate enough to meet magic111 and tom911.

So, I concur.. they do work!

A bit late for this thread but I posted the encounter in this thread.

Flew SFO-MSP NW 362 and sat in FC next to an FT'er.

Saw the FT tag on his rollerboard on the overhead compartment while waiting to deplane but it didn't hit me until I got off the flight

Met Elizabethh onboard UA FRA-SFO and then another FTer whose name escapes me in the LAS US lounge when I finally got home. I was already mileage running with a couple flyertalkers and it was nice to run into another one of us

As he boarded late last evening in MSP, Doglover had to stow his bag toward the back of FC. Noticed his FT yellow tag. He was in 2D. I was in 3C. Exchanged brief words and business cards.

I am pumped~

This will be my first trip using my FlyerTalk tags! Somebody better say, "hello" if you see me. I am the brunette with the tall man in the black arm sling cast heading to NYC.

After several trips with the "bright day-glo yellow" FT tags, both on my laptop bag and clothing bag, I have yet to see another FT'er out there. I did have a f/a remark. "oh, I know you guys.. you guys fly alot don't you?" Me: "just a little" with a wink and a smile.

So, here's to seeing a FT tag on someone else's bag someday in the future

I just got my tags today in the mail. We'll see if anyone catches spots me on my SFO-DFW segments.

Met the nice couple from DEN at RCC IAD yesterday (sorry missed your screen names). They offered sympathetic ears to my rant about TSA taking my snow globe. I appreciated it!

So FT tags are great!
