Not sure if this place actually takes reservations, I'll let you know shortly. I plan to show a little early so will get us on the list asap if needed

Our very own headinclouds "cased" Cafe Saint-ex for us tonight and has reported that its a pretty small place (a city type place). They don't accept reservations (well, they do for their lounge, but its their smoky nightclub on the weekends and in the downstairs/dungeon area so I'm not opting for that at all). I'm planning to go early, by 6 pm to start the wait for a table for our party. Feel free to join me if you're out early -- they do have a bar
Also - I'm not sure if its available on Sunday (not a theater night) but they do offer a prix fix meal that goes up in price after 7pm - so if you might be interested, we should place orders soon after we're seated.
See you on Sunday.
-- if anyone would like my cell phone # to make it easier to meet up, please PM me. Once we get a table, I'll let them know that anyone who asks for "flyertalk" should be directed our way.

I can probably make it on Sunday to the Cafe Saint-Ex. If anything changes on that, I'll let you know by Saturday night. This will be my first DC Do.

Seems like quite a few FT'ers in the DC area are not interested in that football game after all ... we're over a dozen now for Sunday's dinner -- I'll be there at 6 pm to reserve whatever tables we can get. If the weather holds, I'll be shooting for outside but they may prefer to leave us inside as the tables are a little bigger and we may take over their entire outside area which they wouldn't necessarily appreciate.
Please do your best to get there by 6:30. See you Sunday.

Interesting piece in the NYT that mentions Saints-Ex.

"Also popular is Caf Saint-Ex (1847 14th Street NW, 202-265-7839), a bistro and lounge that plays punk, hip-hop and Brit-pop. It features Art Deco aviation memorabilia and an in flight menu that includes beef (rib-eye steak, $23) and chicken (wood grilled, $18)."

I want to fly that airline - that has an "in flight menu that includes beef (rib-eye steak, $23) and chicken (wood grilled, $18)."
