Wed 16th at Lauriol Plaza in Dupont Circle? Free validated parking in back. Metro accessible. Great chips and salsa, margaritas and food in general.

Or my usual other recommendation: Jaleo in Crystal City. Free parking after 5:00 pm in adjacent parking garage. Happy hour pricing on food and drinks until 7:00 pm.

I love Lauriol Plaza but, unless I find a job before next Wednesday, I won't be able to make it.

Good news is, the job I am hoping for is located in Bethesda so I will be able to make it to more happy hours if I get it ... keep your fingers crossed for me

I'm down with either. As long as I get a ride from my chauffeur and he is wearing bunny ears!

Next week is Restaurant Week so my dining out budget is spent (and then some). I'll have to pass.

I second GA's suggestion for nice meal during Restaurant Week. But is it not a DC event? I thought we were going to try for N VA again.

I suggest that any group over 8 - 10 may be difficult for this event. Hope I did not go over the top

I'm waiting for something to finalize here and will then pick another NoVa venue, assuming I'm in town and not sent out on the road for work.

As far as restaurant week goes, I agree to limit it to a group of 8 people. First come, first served There can be more than one group if there is sufficient interest.

September request

My wife and I will be in DC arriving Sat 9/16 about 5:00PM and out on Tue 9/19 at 2:30PM. If anything starts to gell for September, please consider those dates

Do you want to target that saturday evening or are you planning to go to the theatre or something else?

I jumped on the restaurant idea without checking my calendar -- I'm still interested but am booked the entire week already and don't have a free evening until Friday the 18th. If the folks interested in doing the Rest-Week thing are interested then, let me know otherwise have a great time

Update on DC resturant week. I called about 6 places and seating times are early (before 6:30) or late (after 8:30). I think that it is a combination of checking too late or very popular resturants. Perhaps back to the first suggestion. I vote for Jaleo in Crystal City, Tue or Wed is ok with me.
