Pranu - do you mind calling ahead & seeing if they can do a reservation? Not sure what our final count is though...I recall our last time there was a tight squeeze.
I've got to be up in Bethesda in the morning & early afternoon, but will be taking the rest of the day off, so I can attempt (and I do say attempt, because you all know how lacking I am in my abilities to be anywhere on time) to get there early if anyone else wants to meet up earlier...

I've never been to one of these before, but since I work a block away and have no excuse for missing, please indulge the newbie: how will I identify the FT crowd?

Look for a large group of folks or just ask the host/hostess for the FlyerTalk table.
I will be there and I usually wear clothing with a Florida Gator motif if that helps.

Yoo Hoo .. walking distance for us .. thank folks. ^
I was in there yesterday looking at the $4 million USA stamp at the National Postal Museum next door.
I have organised a special colour printed Cap Brewery pint glass for all attending for dinner, via some coupons I acquired. coff.

Do we know how many we are going to be? Guesstimate? I can then call up later this evening.

As ozstamps mentioned, I'm definitely in (though I doubt that the menu will be quite the same as at the Breakfast Creek Hotel or Pier Nine in Brisbane.)
How's on-street parking around Union Station on a Friday night?

There is a reservation for FlyerTalk for a group of 25 for 1930.
Since we are bigger than a group of 8 there will be a 20% gratuity included and it will be once check and not separate checks.
So please please please get cash in small bills!!!!!

7.30pm we'll be there. ^
Cap Brewery is right next to National Postal Museum and right by Union Station.
Tazi can have our imprinted pint glass if she wants it. Not a great product to schlep back 10,000 miles in suitcases.
