No need to have sorrows... your team doesn't play mine this week! :p

(We were hoping you could show up so we could celebrate your birthday, you know.... ;) )

You know, I have actually been following this and keeping it on the radar. I just can't say yes or no (still), and I didn't want to RSVP as a maybe. I'm going to the fair tomorrow, but I don't know when I'll be finished or if I may go out after the fair as well. Normally, liquor + possible gambling = I'll show up, but I just don't know if I'll be able to manage it this weekend. I still haven't officially said no, though. :p

My wife will be EXTREMELY disappointed if you don't show. :(

I hope the rain clears out so we can have the patio open. Oh, and when football ends, we can move the poker directly to the tv courtesy of the wireless Texas Hold Em that Mr. Peaches BB got me for Christmas last year.

I'm still in and have not one single solitary clue as to what I'm bringing, food or wine-wise. I'm making a trip over to Central Market tomorrow (have to get wine there too as my source from work and I haven't seen each other in a couple of weeks because we've each been travelling). So, I welcome any suggestions or requests for either!

empedocles Oct 13, 2006 7:35 pm

So how many boxes of wine should I bring? :D

Or maybe some Strawberry Hill... :D

What time are you going to CM Mary? I need to go too. Want to go with and make a Barn and lunch run while we are at it??

That'll be week 11, Sunshine. And again around week 15, I expect.

But I do have other things in my life besides Fantasy Football to be miserable about, you know.

as for times, no idea. Slept late because I am dog-tired from this week. but yes, let's do!

empedocles Oct 14, 2006 1:00 pm

CM is a fargin zoo today (moreso than usual). It is apparently the Ft. Worth store's 5th anniversary.

techgirl Oct 14, 2006 1:22 pm

We just left the Plano CM and half the parking lot was blocked for "Applefest" due to a giant bounce house. Otherwise it was the usual crazy Saturday crowds.

The focaccia has been ordered and the wine has been picked out (from World Market). I have, as a signed up for, some appetizer and dessert pieces and my wines will be more on the dessert side as well. See you all there at 7!

Anyone have a clue as to what time I should leave Las Colinas to get there? I have never been up that way.

Sam makes the drive this way every day for work (from your building) - but if he doesn't chime in, I'll estimate that 6:40 ought to be plenty of time.

c230k78 Oct 14, 2006 4:22 pm

Thanks Jennifer! I will leave around 6:30 to be on the safe side then!

BTW, not to hijack the evening with FT stuff (oh the horror lol) but will their be any EF experts in the house? I just signed up last night and need a few newbie points. I had some questions in the AA forum but figured some in-person help would be nice also.

I may be late as I have been sidetracked by college footbal..... :)
