Back from the meeting....it was great to see bpauker and platbrownguy again, as well as meet Canarsie and his client.

There was a bit of a wait for a table, as the restaurant was crowded, but we had a great time. :)

When is the April gathering? I'm there and free the night of Tuesday, April 26, which seems very unlikely to be the night -- but maybe I could get lucky (and probably everyone else there will, as a result, think that they got unlucky!).

I don't think the April gathering has been officially decided. We have talked about a few different things - I am happy to let someone else plan because my life is somewhat topsy-turvy (in a VERY good way) at the moment.

I'm thinking Duke's Original Roadhouse in Addison, on my birthday. :)

I'm still in favor of a "Long Overdue Longview-Do" (say that ten times fast). Sure, its' inconvenient and expensive for everyone to get to. Sure, there's nothing to do there. Sure, it would most likely degenerate into a discussion about who's idiotic idea it was to have a Longview-Do. But still... it'd be in Longview!

All compelling arguments for a Longview-Do aside, I'm looking forward to whenever and wherever our next dealio will be. Octoberbest in Muenster maybe? Whirlyball? I expect I'll be around, as it looks like I've got only one out of town engagement next month, and that's early in the month.

I recently moved to DFW (Sept '04) from CVG. Although I've been with Flyertalk for the last year, I've never heard of Community Buzz and didn't know about the community here in DFW (until this morning). I'd love to meet all of you when you get together next. Although I'm not travelling as much as I used to (client is in Irving, so I'm doing the commute from Ft Worth), I still travel as much as I can on my dime. Just came back from a week in London and it was truly amazing.

Looking forward to meeting some of you.
