So did we set an April date yet? It looks like some of my drama may be over by then... so if I'm in town, will try to attend.

It was great seeing platbrownguy again, as well as meeting studley and bpauker.

Interestingly, my client fit right in with the rest of the group with his travel stories. He really enjoyed the evening. Thank you for making him feel right at home. Also, thank you, studley, for driving us back to our hotel.

I enjoyed my dinner (the fish of the day, which was a delicious mahi-mahi) and the lime-mint soda. I also sampled several of the homemade cakes!

When I told others at the trade show that I was going to a “Cuban-European fusion” restaurant, they either felt sorry for me, revealed a look on their faces of puzzlement and confusion, or dismissed the fact that I was going to show up again the next day, but I let them know just how good the food was that I ate.

My only regret on my trip to Dallas was that I was unable to meet myefre, who was unable to attend on Saturday, while I was unable to meet him Sunday and Monday due to business meetings. On the advice and recommendations of platbrownguy and several other people at the trade show, both business meetings were at Dragonfly at the Hotel Zaza. On a different evening, to satisfy my carnivorous side, I also had a great filet mignon at Bob’s Steak and Chop House, where another business meeting was held.

For those of you who decided not to show up at the gathering for this month after finding out that I was indeed attending (no, no — don’t deny that that was not the primary reason why you did not attend!), you missed perhaps the best DFW Monthly Gathering by far...

Awwww... would have been absolutely fabulous, especially because I love that place. I swear it wasn't you - I was doing business meetings all day on Saturday - and that night ended up being a meeting with my general counsel as well as my IT consultant.

(And no studley, I'm still not quite ready to tell you what is up.... :o )

I'm doing a MR to DFW on 4/2, and plan to spend the majority of the time in the AC--- lol.

If any of ya'll would like to do a late lunch, or an early dinner that gets me back to DFW by 8PM, I'd be happy to be surrounded with your company.

Unfortunately, 4/2 is the day of the big Continental Meet and Tour in Houston, so I'm not sure how much company you'll have...

I'll be out of town on vacation on that date.

First, you voluntarily de-moderatoritized yourself (I just made up a new word) at the exact same time as when I first became a FlyerTalk moderator.

Then, you are conspicuously absent at a FlyerTalk gathering in the Dallas area in which I appear.

Coincidence? I think not!

To add to that, former Who Will Be The Next FlyerTalk Member To Post? An OMNI Game contestants empedocles and boilermaker did not appear because empedocles was on a “mileage run” and boilermaker was “not feeling well”.

Oh, boo hoo hoo!

Yeesh, techgirl — all of this is enough to give this FlyerTalk member a complex!...

I also hope that boilermaker is feeling much better and that empedocles reaches the top elite status as a result of his mileage run...
