-A travel warrior who doesn't mind living out of a suitcase for an extended period of time

Professional Services
I'm a MS SQL and Oracle DBA who has been working for a professional services team for the past 3 years. My strengths include database administration, SQL, server administration and deployment and cluster administration and deployment. I've got a BS in IT, know enough Java, .Net and Spanish to be dangerous, and hold a security clearance.
I'm looking for a job in services or consulting. All of my experience has been in Post-Sales Support and Services, but I'd like to move over to consulting eventually. I'm not opposed to pre-sales work, but I'm a little hesitant about working on commission, as I've never done that before.
Currently based in upstate NY, but I'm like to relocate someplace else (don't like winter all that much
) As everyone else on here, more travel is better.

If you have not done so already, The FlyerTalk Business Exchange Forum thread might be a better venue for you, as you are really promoting your business more than asking to be hired by someone else.
Good luck to you, and I hope that your voice-over business flourishes!

I have also done professional voice-over work myself, but not on a full-time basis, although I would eventually like to do so.

I recently graduated with an Undergrad degree in business with a focus on E-Commerce and IT/IS. If anyone knows of any entry level positions in pretty much anything besides Sales please let me know!
Also, has anyone here work for IATA or have completed an internship with IATA or Amadeus? They have quite a few internships listed for students and for recent grads. I have submitted a couple applications just to try my luck.. I have yet to read/see anything online about someone actually doing an internship there, so if anyone knows anything let me know as well.
TIA

Hello,
I'm currently unemployed and looking for a new career. I have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Information Systems (minor in Business Admin.) and previously worked for a major defense contractor for 3 1/2 years (since I graduated college). I have a broad range of knowledge in various technical areas including Software Engineering (I know several OO languages), Systems Engineering, Systems Design, Systems Integration (both custom and COTS products), network administration, etc.
Although I have a strong background in Software Engineering, I'm really looking to move my career in another direction. I'm hoping to find an IT consulting position that doesn't involve writing code.
I'd be interested in Telecommuting, travel or relocation (currently live in Upstate NY) for the right opportunity.
Please PM me if you think you may have something that may interest me and I'll get you a copy of my resume.
Thanks a lot!

Well, here we go again
After almost one full year of contract employment, I was just told that my contract is coming to an end in a month or so.
So, I am re-entering the job market, this time hoping for something permanent, rather than contract - although I'm still open to a longer-term contract option.
I am based in South Florida, but can travel and telecommute - or do a location split (need to spend some time each month in FL to check on my folks).
Here is a precis of my resume and background:
Resourceful, high-performance, business-savvy program manager with a successful track record of delivering projects and managing complex programs, managing cross-functional teams, mentoring and consensus building. Product and technical strategist able to develop and interpret product strategy, sell and market technical solutions, and translate company strategies into executable results. Cost-conscious leader able to balance resource constraints with desired project and product deliverables while remaining passionate about quality.
And my skills list:
Project Management Program Management Product Management Product Strategy Usability and Design SDBS/MVP/Purple Cow Market Validation Team Building Project Budgeting and Scoping Forecasting
Agile/Scrum Vendor Relations Business Development Product and Solution Positioning Communication MS Project MS Visio Development Lifecycle Trade Show Planning and Marketing Matrix Management
