I have recently graduated with PhD in Mathematics and am looking for a job in industry.
I am open to any field and almost any type of job. Of course job doesn't have to be related to mathematics.
PhD in Math has helped me to develop strong analytical and problems solving skills and it has made me confident to be ready to take difficult challenges in unknown fields.
I also have basic programming experience in variety of languages. Over last few years, I have done programming in APL, C++, VB, Java, AuotIT Script and Matlab.
During my graduate studies (MS and Phd), I taught a variety of mathematics courses.
Before going for graduate studies, I worked for two years in a small software/ IT company managing various company operations including marketing and customer support.
Please let me know if you know of any suitable opportunities. I am willing to relocate to anywhere in US/Canada. (I can consider Europe too depending on the job)
ps. With the help of FT, I also have knowledge of credit cards, frequent flyer miles etc. For example, in last 5 months, I made almost $8000 using credit card and airline deals (with almost no travelling and not much spending). Though I doubt that will help me get a real job!

Hi all -- Figure I'd give this a shot.
I'm a senior litigation associate in the DC office of an AmLaw Top 50 law firm. I've worked on consumer class actions, products liability and mass tort litigation. Lots of writing experience and court time.
I'm also a grad of a top-14 law school and a former law clerk for a federal district court judge.
I'd be interested in a smaller firm setting, in-house, or possibly government.
Drop me a PM if you know of something that might match up well.
Thanks!

Hello,
I'm a US citizen currently based in Santiago, Chile working with a Big 4 consulting firm in the areas of Business Process Outsourcing and internal quality and risk management.
Ideally I'm looking for a position that requires 75%-100% travel, but anything at the 50%+ level is a good thing in my book. I have extensive global experience, but a domestic or regional position would be very interesting, as well.
My strengths are in training, business development and customer relationship management.
If any of you have a position that might be a good fit, or if you know of one, I would appreciate a PM!
Paul

I'm looking for an entry level (or an internship that can possibly lead to a full time position) position at a bank, consulting firm, or in industry in a strategy, business development, or finance function.
I have a BA in econ with a minor in law and society and business studies, and my GPA is in the mid-3's and I'm a 3 year graduate. I'm currently working in Korea in a government office. I've interned at a local Public Defender's office also. I have experience volunteering as an instructor at a program run by my alma mater to teach high school students interested in the law about the law.
I'm willing to travel up to 100% and willing to relocate just about anywhere in the world. I'm fluent in Korean and conversant in French. Looking to start in fall of next year or later.
Please feel free to drop me a PM if you know of a position that matches my interests.
Thanks!!!

But you might want to consider a change in your handle. Doesn't sound at all indicative of your intellect.

I'm presently an IT sysadmin in a financial services organization (company calls us systems support analysts and/or web systems engineers). I have been a systems admin for over 12 years. I am primarily focused on middleware though have no trouble supporting the entire OS and hardware levels. My expertise is on Windows with .NET applications and some BizTalk support. Also dabbled in WebLogic, some Linux work and am reasonably advanced with ConnectDirect NDM, just to name a few more products.
While I'm not actively looking I would definitely entertain new opportunities if they are too good to pass up. That includes those with a reasonable amount of travel - which would be up to 50% for me as a preferred limit.
