Undergraduate seeking internship - DFW area preferred

I'm currently a junior at Stanford studying Management Science & Engineering looking for a summer internship related to travel, general/int'l business, finance, logistics, or similar fields. I am nearly fluent in German, and I am rapidly improving during my current study abroad in Berlin, which is hampering the internship interview process...

Originally from Dallas, Texas, I would very much enjoy working in my hometown, but I am certainly flexible and, of course, willing to travel.

PM me for resume if interested. Thanks!

If your nearly fluent in German why not apply for Swiss Air's or Lufthansa's corporate internships?

Risk Management/Performance Measurement

My position will be ending 9/30/10.

I am currently looking for a position in the NY area (with travel if necessary) for a quantitative analyst with specialization in equity risk management. I have broad experience in both the sell-side and the buy-side, on quant applications such as risk software, FACTSET, performance attribution and measurement software, and fund accounting.

Please contact me if you know of any positions. Will email resume upon request. Thanks.

I don't know about ecologist but I wouldn't mind being a editor or future TV presenter for Top Gear!

Anyone here from Boeing Commercial Airplanes Group?

I was wondering if anyone reading this happens to know someone from Boeing? I've applied for an engineering position over in the Aero/Noise/Propulsion Lab, but the online site request my resume only. I just got my Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from Cal and would love a shot at this job. I'd really like to get my cover letter and resume directly to the people conducting the search for fear that my resume will not make it through the filters.

Anyways, if you might be able to help, please shoot me a PM. Thanks in advance!

Technology Company Hiring

cbrown please post your information or a way to contact you outside of FT? The company I work for is looking for sales personnel who have experience. Thanks.

Also, if there is anybody who has experience (extensive) in software development there are a few positions opened as well as a position for product management. All require experience.

Seeking Postdoctoral Research in Cancer Research/Molecular Biology

I am currently completing my PhD in the fields of molecular biology, cancer biology and pharmacology. I expect to submit my thesis in around 2 months (June 2010).

My current project involves the investigation of the mechanism of action of the observed chemopreventive effects of an experimental chemopreventive agent against skin cancer. This involves characterisation of the anti-proliferative activity, profiling gene expression changes, and examining cell signalling alterations in response to the compound. Additionally I have established a research collaboration to incorporate in silico techniques to investigate drug mechanisms of action, leading to development of advanced screening methodologies using computational technology.

I also have qualifications in research commercialisation, including knowledge transfer for commercialisation, entrepreneurism and project management. Additionally I have experience in public engagement and science communication.

I am seeking a postdoctoral research position in Europe (incl. UK) or North America in the fields of cancer chemoprevention, and/or molecular biology.

Please PM me for a CV.

Experienced PM, SE, and Ops Manager

I'm currently looking to part ways with my employer after 7 tumultuous years and a fairly unpleasant merger. I have 10 years in the wireless and GPS industries as a SE, PM, and a manager of field engineers. I've opened up new markets from the ground up on 3 continents (North America, Australia, and Europe) and am currently working on a 4th (Asia). Ideally, I'd like a PM or consulting gig, but I'd also be pretty happy with another SE position were it a good fit.

I'm currently in NYC, but I'm open to gigs pretty much anywhere in the world, particularly with heavy travel. If anyone has an opening or knows of something that might fit the bill, please PM me.

Analyst/Consultant Relations

Most high-tech firms know how important these influences are to their fortunes and put a lot of effort into influencing them.

I essentially pioneered the field in the 1980s, wrote the first book on it (about to come out in its third edition) and have worked with most of the important analyst firms on the planet.

Now that I'm leaving full-time university teaching, I'm open to consulting, part-time work or a full-time job in this field.

Naturally, since this is FT, travel is not a problem!
