"Hiring" - iPhone and SugarCRM Dev
I'm posting this on behalf of friends who are building a startup. I've put the word hiring in quotes because this is not a job per se, but an opportunity to join a new startup currently in stealth mode with a partnership track (equity stake) for the dev they bring on board.
Essential skills -
1. ability to design, test and build iPhone (Android is a plus) apps
2. MS-SQL database skills
3. CRM skills (SugarCRM or other open-source) or Force.com dev platform
This role is suited for a professional developer who is either currently working, taking time off or not working and is able to make a minimum time/effort commitment to help take a new product to market in exchange for an equity stake in lieu of salary.
The type of personality this would appeal to is someone who enjoys going to 'Startup Weekend' events and building new products.
Here is the official description:
Early stage stealth startup is seeking a skilled iPhone app developer to join a solid team with a highly monetizable business idea in the promotionals space. Join our small team of business and product strategists, bus dev/marketing manager and web product/project manager/tech lead. Significant work has been done on the business plan, and we now need to build out the prototype. The app will eventually also be developed for Android and Blackberry, and will later have features using augmented reality.
We are looking for a developer who is interested in being an active participant in contributing to the product strategy, not just a coder, who is very familiar with Cocoa and iPhone SDK. Additional skills in database backend, CRM integration are required.
This position is a non-paid, equity ownership stake, with tremendous upward opportunity. NDA required. Work from home OK, with availability for phone conference meetings required.
If anyone is interested, or know someone who might be, please PM or email me.

Veteran Executive Assistant / MajorDomo available
I am a US citizen who has spent the last five years living in Bangkok. My experience is as an Executive Assistant / MajorDomo for senior management at two different US-based Fortune 100 companies. I have extensive experience in the handling of senior executives and their lives, and am able to anticipate and prepare for their needs so that they are ready and at their best for any situation that may arise.
As expected for a position like this, I have extensive experience in managing complicated and challenging calendars, travel arrangements (utilizing both commercial and private aircraft), advanced Internet research, and top-level meeting and conference planning and organization. I am comfortable dealing with families and personal situations as well as the day-to-day management of their offices, their charitable and personal affairs, and people from all levels of an organization and all walks of life who may come in contact with their office. Perhaps most importantly, I am able to maintain my composure (and my sense of humor) in the most challenging of situations.
I am open to all possibilities, ranging from one-off jobs to full-time employment. I would be particularly open to opportunities in the hospitality industry as I have an excellent concept of what the high-end customer needs, expects and demands. Travel is no problem.
Please PM me and I will reply with further details and my resume.

I too am looking for work, and I have been fearful of posting my info on here for fear of judgment; then I thought, why would I not post it here...it's the FT family after all, and we all support each other.
It is all about networking right? FT is sort of like the whole "LinkedIn" scenario.
:-)
Patrick
ps: So, I stopped being a massage therapist after 9 years, and returned to school to finish my education @ USF.
Been actively looking since January this year, graduate from USF next month.
My focus is Organizational Behavior and Leadership. Is it wrong to post one's CV on here?

Post away!
As was mentioned earlier, that's the purpose of the thread.
Good luck!
PS: Everything you publish is open for the world to see which includes good guys and bad guys alike. Thus I'd suggest omitting any personal info. You might want to ask folks to contact you via Private Message and/or an e-mail address set up solely for this job search.

Upcoming grad looking for trainee audit roles. Have upcoming first interviews with PwC and Ernst & Young, but would also be interested in smaller firms too. Degrees in Genetics (US Uni) and Law (Finance/Commercial Specialisation) (UK Uni)
Looking for a firm which will support me getting my accounting quals while I work (in the way that you do at Big4)
Frequent travel not a problem (big shocker, eh?)
UK Citizen/US Permanent Resident (so can work either place)

Unlike everyone else, I'm looking for a paid internship or full-time job at a restaurant or hotel. I never had any working experience (I know... lets just say my parents wanted me to concentrate more on academics than getting a job). Was wondering if anyone knew someone personally or is a HR themselves. Been hearing negative news about other applications I put out. *sigh*
