Looking for an internship

I am a first year MBA student, and I am looking for a summer internship. Though I live in KS, I am willing to relocate or even live abroad for this internship; I am also willing to take an unpaid position if the internship is a good "fit" with my career goals.

I am currently pursuing three Masters degrees: a Master of Arts in East Asian Studies (Japanese language and culture emphasis, to be completed sometime this year), a Master of Arts in Russian & Eastern European studies (May 2009 completion), and a Master of Business Administration (International Business concentration, May 2009 completion). I am all-but-thesis in my East Asian studies degree, and about 6 credits away from completing the Russian degree, so most of my coursework at the moment has been business-related.

I have a broad spectrum of work experience, which includes about 2 years working full time in the health care industry. I have also owned and operated an online retail business for the last five years, and I have spent the last three years teaching a university-level course in East Asian culture.

For the first year in my MBA program, I have been doing extensive coursework in consulting; projects have included doing marketing consulting for one of the world's largest greeting card companies, as well as strategy consulting in Japan for one of the world's leading business software companies. I have also completed a short-term business study abroad program in India, where I did in-depth studies on Indian family businesses and the Indian pharmaceutical industry.

I speak Japanese reasonably well (having lived there for a period of time), and I am working on that same level of proficiency in Russian (though to be honest, I have many years to go on that front).

Please PM me for my resume if interested. Thanks.

Computer Science Major with Statistics degree looking.

I am a Ph.D stduent majoring in CS and I also have a Master's degree in Statistics. My study focus on Bioinformatics, Data Mining and Machine Learning skills.
I am looking for a job in two different industries:
1) Pharmaceutical industry: A Bioinformatics Research Associate job would be perfect. I have worked in two major Pharma company before as a summer intern. My job responsibilities in these companies include designing, implementing and testing algorithms as well as analyzing bio-data sets using statistical models.
2) Consulting industry: Due to the nature of my concentration -- Data Mining -- my skills can be applied to other industries, provided that I work with a domain expert who can, from time to time, guide the analysis. I am easy to work with as a team member and would be thrilled to work on projects with a group of like-minded and self-motivating individuals.

I plan to graduate sometime in the summer this year. I currently hold an F-1 VISA and will need sponsorship. Please PM me if you need my resume.

Thanks for your interest.

Change in Positions?

Folks, I'm going through this out there just to see if anyone knows a open position that would suit me well.

I have a rather strong back ground in the Real Estate field with expierence from everything from sales (residential and commercial) to marketing to administrative positions at both sales and investement companies.

I am currently employed but have maxed out my potential in the company I'm at. With that in mind, I would consider a move to another company for the right position. Relocating is a non-issue.

PM me with details for open positions or to request a resume.

I am very impressed with all the talent on here! I figured I would throw out my own blurb:

I will be in the need of a perioperative nursing job beginning of the summer. I graduate in May with my ADN (with honors!). I will be continuing on for my BSN online through Univeristy of Wyoming. I have held many leadership positions while in school including VP of both National Honor Society chapter and Student Senate.

My background is office work, staffing and human resources as well as database management & design.

If anyone knows of a good hospital to work at that offers a sign on bonus to new grads, please let me know.

You can receive your BSN online? Why does that concern me, at least a little?

There are MANY RN-BSN programs online. The OP already will have their ADN (which is a 2 year RN degree). The main difference between a two year RN and four year RN is NOT the nursing education. In general, RN-BSN programs contain history, literature, art, and a lot of nursing theory. Nothing to be concerned about ^

Sales Engineer w/ BS in Aerospace Engineering

I'm currently employed as a Sales Engineer by a mid-sized supplier of commercial/military/general aviation MRO parts and repair services. I have BS in Aerospace Engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and am very enthusiastic about commercial aviation in general. My current position has me playing dual-roles as engineer/technical representative and outside sales person at several large airline customers as well as smaller MRO facilities. This dual role has given me real world business experience in contract negotiation & management, customer support, and maintaining business relationships as supplements to my technical education background. I find the balance between technical and business aspects of what I do to be extremely interesting, giving me large-picture outlook that both our outside sales staff and engineering staff often lack. It has also motivated me to peruse an MBA to formally supplement my engineering BS, a task my current company has committed to sponsoring but I have not yet begun. I feel my real-world business experience with major airline customers along with my formal background in Aerospace Engineering to be a great combination. I'm currently located in Douglasville, GA but am open to relocation domestically and travel domestic and abroad. A copy of my resume is available for review and I would be interested in discussing any open positions I may be a fit for. If you need any more information or would like to discuss opportunities please PM me for further contact info.

Thanks!

I will be graduating with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration this summer. After a two months internship at an NGO in India (evaluating the success of a micro-credit project), I am looking for an internship (6-8 months) in the aviation, tourism or telecommunications sector. I have no set preference as to where I want to work, but I would like to get out of Europe (North America & Australia would be great).

I have worked for one of the biggest container shipping companies and a company concepting closed funds (financing airplanes and container vessels). I have an international background and am highly motived to work in a global environment.

Please PM for my resume.

For NA you will need to find a company who will be able to sponsor you re: VISA support. When applying, ensure that they are aware of your location.

He is looking for an internship so that means a J1 visa. Only a company wont help him as he needs a so called DS2019 which can only be issued by an exchange agency. I got mine a few years ago from Interexchange in New York. They were quiet expensive !

The company only has to provide a training plan and confirm the salary that the intern earns in order for the consulate to measure his financial sources.
