I'm sure they'll come down....so don't get disappointed! The question for me (and why I didn't wait) was upgrade space availability (and getting to sit next to & behind & in front of some of my buds ;) )

Are you implying that we'll keep you from getting your (not-needed) beauty sleep? :p

Prncess....are you going to try and make the SIN trip out of MSY? I really want to make the run, but I am seeking NW EQM. NW fares have been out of sight for a run to SIN, but I am going to keep checking.

Yes I live in NOLA and will probably start out of NOLA. Since I make CO PLAT on work travel alone I usually try making this run on UAL.

I had not thought about it like that, but since I will probably make NW PLT on work travel, I should maybe take a look at UAL or some other airline offering good fares to SIN. I will broaden my search and see what shakes out. Thanks for the idea. :)

I'm glad you're able to make it! At the last Chicago FT dinner, bseller had mentioned he was trying to get his friend Boris to come as well. Are you in the UD with the rest of us?

Sweet Willie Jul 8, 2004 7:32 am

The Do is now listed in the Calendars

Seeing is believing...bye the bye Dave, you can buy me and SW a couple of rounds at the RCC and then the 3rd and 4th on the plane, since you coaxed me into the boondoggle.

Wouldn't 'BOONDOGGLE' imply that there was no true purpose to this event???-- when, as I see it the imbibing of beverages and pepper crabs is a purpose unto itself :D :D :D

The miles! The miles! Don't forget about the miles!!!!! :D

Oh yeah, and me actually following through (or attempting, anyway), on my threat to crawl over the seat in front of me en route HKG-SIN should the person sitting next to me (coff coff) be sleeping and I need to get up ;) (He who is sitting in front of me on that segment knows who he is ;) )

That's for sure!!! But that's only the 3 hour leg, not the 15 hour one. It should be quite a party before ^ ^ we get to Sin...we must have the whole UD. Looking forward to seeing you and Sean again Grahmn....This is going to be a blast.

Currently there are 12 of the 26 UD seats booked for HKG-SIN :D

rcs85551 Jul 19, 2004 3:47 am

I am in

Now since LH is honouring their error o/w fare back from SIN to MUC in F for roughly 600 €, I am in... :D

Just to clarify, as an SPG plat, I would rather stay at a SPG property than the Hilton - anybody else going that way, or is it a pain in the *** for this event?

kluau88 Jul 19, 2004 7:08 am

I'll be at the Sheraton Singapore.

I too will be making the Sheraton my home away from home in SIN....its an easy commute by taxi to anywhere one might want to go, and they do a "reasonable" job in terms of Plat upgrades......

Its also right across the street from Newton Circus food court to the extent that you can somehow manage to be hungry after all the eating we'll have been doing!!! :)

Best wishes, Dave

rcs85551, it will be great to see you again! You haven't made it to San Diego in awhile. This is great - a truly international gathering.

Wireless Jul 19, 2004 5:33 pm

I'm staying at the Sheraton as well.

Party upstairs, and a party at the hotel!

mjm Jul 19, 2004 6:10 pm

I see I have some page updating to do. Just got back form a hectic NRT-SEA-SFO-SEA-NRT-SEA-SFO-SEA-NRT in 6 days trip and will be at the controls here later today ho-pefully. I am really pleased to see the gathering moving ahead so well and those of whose itins and plans have been posted here since the last update should see them reflected on the page in the next 48 hours or so.

Back at you shortly......

Mike
