Mr eightblack,
Would it be worth organising an 'Afternoon Tea at the Burj' sub-do for the Dubai virgins?
Every time I've taken anybody there, they've always been impressed, even the most cynical of people.
It usually starts as afternoon tea, but ends up as evening cocktails as well.
It's like doing the Eiffal Tower in Paris, cheesy, but it's go to be done
I'd take the organisation of this on if you agree.
Cheers,
Rick

Rick,
Bravo! Excellent. I hereby appoint you Chief Organiser of the Afternoon Tea at the Burj.
We're going to do brunch on the Friday - so make Saturday the afternoon tea day.
I'm looking at Sunday being the day where we do something airline/Emirates related.
Thanks for offering to help
Cheers

Oh, would love to, Dede - but I will be in Chicago presenting at a conference on the 22nd. We can definitely have a cocktail to celebrate in Dubai, though!

I can't go to Dubai. Because this is middle eastern restrictions and I cannot allowed go any Arabs country. Only where I visits in Israel. That won't be necessary go to UAE for a long time. I can't joined with you guys in DXB. Instead, if you likes come to USA or EU is more convenient for me.

Given that this is the DXB DO, I'd imagine a lot of people would be flying in on EK (no?)
Anyway, for those unfamiliar with the fares etc, keep in mind that it's oftentimes quite expensive flying into DXB, and much better value if you add on a leg to anywhere (Middle East, S Asia, SE Asia) depending on the extra time and money you have. And on how many additional tier miles you want.
Feel free to PM me if you need any help with this.

Need to put some more effort in getting a sweet fare and some miles as well. It's a shame that EK is not a part of any alliance... They can start one

Sorry for delay but have been busy with our brand new baby the last few days! Please let me know which part of Dubai that you would like to stay in and I will give you some ideas. If you don't know Dubai very well please drop me a PM and we will get something worked out location and hotel wise. An ideal budget per night would be good to.

No, does not have served to TLV due to Middle Eastern restrictions.
Ah, okay! I see. I thought that I didn't have any problems from Israel stamps. Well, I am already been in Israel a years ago and I have renewal my passports and I have new passports that I got it by last 4 years ago. When I got my passports is expirations back in 2008. I decide that I have get renewal my passports and they sent it over me in the mails for approximately 4 weeks.
