What's the difference between the Ink Bold & Ink Plus cards?
Ink Bold is no longer available. It was a charge card (pay balance in full each month), but it has been discontinued and many accounts were converted to Ink Plus cards with the same account numbers.

Ink Plus is a revolving credit card. It allows you to earn and redeem Chase Ultimate Rewards points (including transfering UR points to air/hotel/rail partners).
What are the best current Ink Plus offers?

The Ink Plus card is no longer available for new applicants. There is a separate thread for The Ink Business Preferred card.

Links for non-targeted Ink Plus 60K offer ($5,000 spend/3 months; annual $95 fee not waived)
There is a report of a 70k offer for the Chase Ink Plus available only through your local Chase Bank office, extended to August 20, 2016. If you recently accepted the 60K offer, you may be able to get the extra 10K simply by asking for it.

There is a no-fee, UR-earning Ink Cash card: https://creditcards.chase.com/ink-bu.../ink-cash-card

Are there special earning categories?
Yes. You earn 5 points per dollar on the first $50,000 spent annually at office supply stores, and on cellular phone, landline, internet, and cable TV services. (Sirius XM Radio also qualifies.)

In addition, you earn 2 points per dollar on the first $50,000 spent annually at gas stations and for hotel accommodations when purchased directly from the hotel.

NOT ALL Ink cards earn the 5x and 2x bonus categories above. Not "Old Ink Bold" that earns 7,500 bonus points for $25,000 spend, 15,000 points for $50,000, and 25,000 points for $100,000 spend.

Where can I find the Ink Plus Guide to Benefits?
What are the rules for transferring UR points to other users or to my own air/hotel/rail accounts?
Closing Ink Plus cards
It is possible to pay the annual fee for the Chase Ink Plus business card, then close the account and get a refund of the fee up to 6 months after it was charged. This provides a total of 18 months of earning up to 5X points for free. Make sure your points are transferred out (either to another UR account owned by you or a spouse, or to an air/hotel partner) before you close the account.

Another data point regarding matching to 70k signup bonus...

Applied in branch March 24th using 60k signup bonus offer.
Approved April 20th, after reconsideration phone call.
Sent Secure Message today requesting match to 70k signup offer.
Received reply granting additional 10k points after completing original spending goal of $5000 in 3 months.

sent two separate SMs, one was approved after a push back (long time loyal customer verbiage), and the other SM was matched straight up, no push back necessary. IMO it appears that they have eased off on not matching the offer. all DP on reddit seems to allude to the fact that many people were matched today whether they applied in branch or online.

the only catch is that i have to reply to the email once my min spend has been met.

"We'll be glad to add the additional 10,000 bonus points to
your account to match the 70,000 enrollment bonus. In
order for us to do so, please reply to this email once
your account has met the spending goal of $5,000.00 within
the first three months from the account open date."

I asked via SM this morning for the extra 10K (match to 70K offer); points are already in my UR account.

FlyerTalk is a beautiful thing.

What sort of push back / follow up messages are those getting matched sending?
Been denied on 3 SMs and a phone call now.

Try picking another option for the SM (the drop-down options you chose before you get to the compose message screen) and maybe vary the message text a bit, reference the 70K flier. I would still not bombard them with SMs, but in your case would try at least one more as such.

I realized my account was open 94 days ago and was told that I'm outside the window. Not sure if it's worth continuing to push. I'll send one or two more SMs.

Data Point.

Tried to apply in branch. The customer service rep at branch told me since I already have a Chase Ink Plus I wouldn't be able to qualify for the new promotion or a new card. He called Chase and confirmed.

heres what i did after 2 denials...

make an SM to Account Inquiry --> others (instead of the Rewards inquiry)

Make the usually statement, you have a flyer for 70k, you are asking for Chase to match it...
i used this one...
I received a flyer for the Chase Ink Plus with a bonus of 70,000 points. I only recently opened my Ink Plus and was wondering if it would be possible to match this offer? I signed up for the offer with 60,000. Thank you!!"
DO NOT attach the flyer.

good luck!

Hi All,
I applied today at branch, was denied but CSR helped to call reconsideration line, then got approved and expedited the card.
70K promotion has $0 anual fee for 12 months, while the 60k promo online has $95, even better

i used the "loyal customer and would like to see this matched because i value the card etc." lingo - it works, all 3 SMs came back with the willing to match language.

So I've already got an Ink Bold using my SSN as a sole prop business but would like to capitalize on the Ink Plus deal. I went in branch and confirmed the deal (70k, yr 1 waived) but they were unable to set up an account without LLC/DBA and proving I was registered in my state for my original business or another one I can claim.

Does anyone have experience applying in branch with a business already set up? Did you use a SSN for sole prop for both? The Ink Bold was done online and didn't have any issues. The in-branch deal is worth figuring out.

Should I try 'HUCA' in a different branch?
