Current public offer as of March 2024: 100k for $5K spend in 3 months: https://creditcards.chase.com/busine...ard?iCELL=6C1Y

Note: This is now branded as the United Business Card, without the "Explorer" branding. It is believed that this is considered by Chase to be a new product compared to the Explorer Business Card.

Can I have MileagePlus Explorer Business Card if I already have a MileagePlus Explorer personal card?Yes. They are different products.

If I earned a 50k bonus within last 24 months on a MP Explorer Business card with one EIN, would I be able to apply for and receive a new bonus with a new MP Explorer Business card with a different business EIN?No. Even if your businesses have separate EINs, you must wait the 24 months.

Once I meet the spending requirement, how soon will I receive my bonus points?Bonus points typically accrue at the close of the billing period in which you incur the corresponding charges. Points should appear in your United account within a day or two thereafter.

NOTE: If you complete your required spending within 7-10 days of your statement close, the bonus may not post until the following month's statement, even if the regular per-dollar points post on the first statement. This is normal behavior for Chase and is not worth a phone call.

Where can I find details on the travel & purchase-protection benefits for this card? Here: https://www.chasebenefits.com/unitedVW4

assuming you're under 5 chase cards total, you can most likely call chase recon and move credit from one card to another.. they are not as strict as say barclay's in how many cards you can have open, unless they changed their policy recently.

I have both UA MP Explorer cards. Held the personal one since 2013, and the business one since May. Only other Chase card is the CSP. (been churning Citi, mainly)

Strangely, I just got an offer in the mail for the same Business card with an unbeatable signup bonus: 70K miles for 2K spending. That's by far the best spending ratio I've seen. (admittedly I haven't been playing the mileage game that long)

What are the chances they will upgrade my signup bonus if I call it in? It was 50K / 3K when I applied a few weeks ago; already spent north of $3K on it.

If they decline, should I post my invite code here? Offer is good until 8/3/2015.

CSR agreed I was eligible for my 50K/3K promotion to be upgraded to 70K/2K. She escalated to the marketing dept, who will notify me by mail in 7-10 days.

Pretty hot deal if you can get on this targeted list!

Update: the letter I received said they couldn't confirm my eligibility, asked me to mail them a copy of the promotion addressed to me. Luckily was able to fish it out of the trash!

How should I interpret this email from United?

Yesterday my wife created a United MileagePlus account. Today she applied for a United MP Explorer business card from Chase. About 7 hours after applying she received an email from United stating that updates/changes to her account's personal information had been made. Do you think this means she got approved for said card? I mean, would Chase send over any additional personal information to United if she weren't approved?

I don't want to call to ask, because she applied for another Chase business card at the same time, and I called regarding that one today using the phone number that was requested that I call at the final webpage after submitting the app. They said she was unable to be approved but made no mention of which card. I assume it was the other one that got denied, not both, due to this email from United. Any experienced thoughts?

No she only had 1 credit card when she applied yesterday. However, she simultaneously applied for a BRG Amex and was approved over the phone. But anyway, my question remains unanswered. Does Chase only send over personal information to United if you're approved?

Before opening a cobranded card, Chase sends the applicant's membership number and personal data to the partner for verification. This would only be done when Chase would issue a card.

However I am not sure whether the email from UA is the result of the initial registration of an UA account or a result from Chase's verification - We NEVER receive ANY email from UA on each and every one Chase UA card being approved - whether it is personal or biz. Nor have I read about anyone reporting received an email from UA (or any partner) on change of Personal Info after applying a Chase card. That, I think meaning the email may NOT have anything to do with Chase!

Does the address and phone number on the credit card app need to match the United Mileageplus account details?

Hi, I clicked on the link in the wiki, logged in with my UA account. It shows only 30k bonus mile on the landing page. How do I get the 50k bonus mile for a personal credit card?

I also see a 50k bonus miles business card. I saw some members reported having the 70k bonus for business card. I do have an LLC with an EIN number. Can I apply for both card at the same time?

Are Chase credit card churnable like the AA cc?

Thanks,

Flying from Denver last Sunday (23 Aug 2015) on Southwest from Concourse C, we stopped in the B concourse to see some friends flying United. At the top of the escalator from the train was a big banner for the 50K bonus for signing up for the personal Explorer card. I have one, but my wife doesn't, so she signed up and was approved on the spot (through an iPad app). The guys there said "this is the only place to get 50K", which is probably false -- so check the United-heavy concourses next time you fly, even if you are on another airline.
