Looks like most things are fixed and updated in the "second refresh." However, only time will tell if they didn't messed up other things or what others things needed to be fixed.

Multicity Booking broken on new CX website

I tried on a variety of web browsers and when I get to the flight selection page the last column is not selectable. Under select your flight I see ''undef (ALLP.text.Cabin.)''.
This is making it hard to compare prices.

I seem to get the same problem but for me, if I go back to select the dates again and go back to the select flights page, it works

tried to do an I-class ex-TPE booking to PVG just now .... got this message:

Please review the following items:
No miles accrual for this itinerary.
No carbon offset for this itinerary.
No seat map available for this itinerary.

??? very strange indeed.

Refresh..!?

Happened to book a flight online on the 28th of July. All went fine, except the payment method (China Mainland, credit card) was no not going through. Called them, long wait. Got a call back a few hours later, and was asked to email credit card and ID scans for payment (how very secure!!!).

Got a booking confirmation and e-ticket receipt a little later. All seemed fine. Ticket is Premium Economy PEK-HKG-FRA return. Seats were selected as per request, and meals eventually showed up as per request. We even have a link on the Manage my bookings site that says: Change Booking (...and its clickable). This is were the troubles begin.

We have previously sent an email to this address, but have not heard back from you. Its with regard to the inability to change flights online, something that I was assured at the time of booking the tickets would be possible - even if the booking was eventually made using the eService. (see below).

We had to change flights two days later, due to some logistical issue.

1. Tried to do it via the Change Booking link, but gives me an error.
2. Logging in to Managed Booking with Asia Miles account does not always work (seemingly random message about Marco Polo members only)
3. Contact No's still outdated (Peking Airport No, not working)
4. Upgrade with Miles link on booking not working (Due to internal system error, you are unable to proceed further. Please close the current browser and try again. (IBE_BUS0083_S043)

So all in all, not really worth using... Telefon Reservation Centre in China is pretty lousy. Normally expect to wait on hold in excess of 15min. Thats on hold with some extremely crackly sound, supposed to be.... music!?

It is disgusting the MPC login is down again!!
It is stuck, again, upon changing the address to origin2-www.cathay.......

A refresh should have been an improvement to functionality, but it simply stopped functioning, even after a month or 2 with several major overhauls. How disappointing and stupid CX is!!

who's getting sacked on this blunder? labour law is fairly business friendly here in HK. just sack few useless IT bosses and the message will be very clear and system improves drastically promptly when u start firing unperforming personnel.

I am told in this forum that CX doesn't really have their own IT department, they outsourced to local HK companies. But I heard CX is bringing someone from the outside (outside of HK) soon to look into this debacle.

Another I heard post based on nothing soild. I will speak to my contacts, who are employed by Cathay to find out an update rather than rely on a regular poster of information that is never substantiated
