Yes this is very annoying. I had a 4-segment trip on MH late-Nov/early-Dec last year SIN-KUL-HKG-KUL-SIN. Three of the segments got credited the week after that but the 3rd segment (HKG-KUL) was missing. Waited for about a month and filed a missing miles request. It has been sitting as "Processing" for 3 weeks now. I hope it won't get changed to "Reject".

This makes me think again if I want to fly MH if I need the club miles a couple months close to renewal.

I hope you won't get a reply like "you are not in the passenger list" like that told me before.

What annoyed me, I did send the BPs when I submited my missing miles form. I do not understand when MH got back to them and telling them "The flight has been credited into other programme", can't they first check the BPs that I have sent to them.

How can the flights be posted to other programme when the ticket and BPs clearly showing my MPC number.

I did managed to talked to the agent about 4pm today and he asked me to resent the email and he said he will follow up. Just before midnights I got an email from [email protected] telling me that 4 flights were rejected for the reason I mentioned.

I straight away gave MPC a call and the agent told me that they have not received the BPs. And he keeps suggesting that may be I did not put my MPC number or my name is not match exactly. I slammed him because he was taking rubbish as I know exactly what I am doing.

This is really a mess. How can after 1 year, there seems no integration between MH and CX. What frustrated me, CX also never check before they do the rejection.

Anyone has Linda Sim email?

Will I see the same mess if I fly QR and post it to CX?

I am really considering to open MH Enrich account now, as it seems "easier" to get the elite status.

This is indeed a pig's breakfast, because I am having almost the exact same experience with two MH flights I took in late-Jan/early-Feb (on KUL-HKG and TPE-KUL in business class). They were not credited into my CX account and when I followed up with a missing mileage request, they showed up as rejected because the flights had been "credited into another programme". I called MPC to complain and highlighted the fact that my CX number was clearly printed on the boarding passes, but received an email back today confirming the rejection.

Should I be following up with MH now? This is getting ridiculous.

Time for MH flights to post?

Curious - has anyone had success in automatic posting of all their legs? I'm going to take MH in Z in a few weeks with 4 legs because of transit.

Called them. Ask them to ask MH which programme it has been posted and how can it be when the MPC number printed there.

As far as I know, if your MPC number printed there, it can only go to MPC. I stands to be corrected. I told them, I do not have any other programme in OW.

The mess can be on MH side. But as I just said in my reply email to MPC (cc Linda Sim), I expect CX to do some due dilligent. When MH came back with this stupid reasons (has been posted into other programme), shouldn't they check the BP first?

Every time I called, they keep asking for the BP. I told them the BPs have been sent together with missing miles form. I thought they stated in the form that BPs need to be sent?

No idea, tell you my stat
2 trips = 8 flights (due to connecting in KUL). All in J.

only 1 flight posted directly into MPC without any intervention.
7 missing flights, when I claimed, only 2 successfully posted without the need of "arguing" with CX.

And to me this is just a normal flight.

Far from experience with SQ. I have 1 flight with ET which is missing, because ET said my CC fails. But SQ managed to post it (because I have the BP and ticket), although it takes quite sometimes.

Absolutely, I can't agree more. But I do have a long redundant MH Enrich account, and on the off-chance the miles get credited there (though I can't imagine how), I called MH today to check. They confirmed there hadn't been anything credited into my Enrich account. So I guess it's now back to the MPC ...

What I suspect "that progamme" the MH is referring to is indeed CX MPC as per stated on the BP.

Yes, actually. I took 2 trips with MH last year:

1st trip in Nov, SIN-KUL-SIN
- whole trip got posted automatically within a week

2nd trip in Nov/Dec, SIN-KUL-HKG-KUL-SIN
- 3 segments got posted automatically within a week or so, but 1 segment missing up till now

So lucky most of my segments were posted automatically and my experience has been much better than the mess others are going through.

I certainly hope not. I called MPO line last night out of curiosity and it's like:
- let me check your record.....
- she asked me if my MPO# was added after the trip. I said no as it was clearly printing on the BP I sent in. No direct acknowledge from her and I wonder if the system didn't have a scanned copy of BP I sent in
- she said the inquiry was sent to MH but there was no response at all
- she also said from the system, she cannot see my original itinerary and need MH to send them the info. But I sent in a copy of the eTicket in the request! Again seems like they don't have a scanned copy of what I sent in
- she acknowledges it's a problem and the request should not be hanging there for weeks without resolution.

I would say the agent was very nice and promised to put in a "request" to kick it off and get it resolved. But I wonder if CX actually stores a copy of what I sent over before they just forward them over to MH. It sounds common from experience of others posters that CX can't make an intelligent decision because they don't have enough information (because they don't store them when they pass through their hands)??

Remember to keep a copy of your BPs when you send in the originals !

Its not only MH- I find MPC to err many times when trying to credit anything other than CX/KA flights.

I never agree to send the original. That's why I asked them if I can just email to. I scanned it and email them. I dunno what happen if I sent the original.

I just got a call from The MPC Team Lead. Very appologetic. And told me in the future I can ask my email to be referred to her.

Thanks for the concern! Yes I kept a scanned copy of the BP.

I initially thought of faxing in the request and BP and keeping the original as well. But back in my mind, I thought they'll probably do nothing, until I call later and tell me they can't do nothing and need the original BP as that's the rule. And that would be another 8 more weeks of turnaround so I might as well do it according to the books.

lingua101, do you mind sharing the name of the MPC Team Lead (through private message please since I think it's wrong to post somebody's name in public) just in case if my request goes downhill, I can request to deal with someone higher up? Thanks!
