£1650 BUD-JFK looks ok on BA metal. Cheaper if you're prepared to fly AY.

That's a long extension. Same prices and routes?

Edit: What's the ITA for searching a fare code without just limiting yourself to two cities? For example, I know how to search I7SALE from BRU-JFK, but is there a way to search all airports within 200 miles of BRU - JFK, ORD and BOS?

It's only another couple of days. However it might just be from Italy. I only saw it from MIL and FCO. £1700 FCO-SFO which is what it was a few days ago too (and where I need to go next month).

The oneworld served airports within 200 miles of BRU are BRU,RTM,AMS,DUS,LUX,CGN,CDG,SCN,ORY so you can specify BRU,RTM,AMS,DUS,LUX,CGN,CDG,SCN,ORY/alliance oneworld to JFK,ORD,BOS/alliance oneworld if you wish. The more airports you specify the less likely it is that you get the best results, but that should work with specific dates. However I just tried it and no I7SALE...

It is a fare code. The first letter is the fare bucket ('I') which is business class.

For those of us who like the ex-eu deals, there appear to be ex-Ireland fares about. I'm sure someone with more knowledge than me can list fare codes and the relevant details but as an example:

JFK - £1340
LAS - £1478
SEA - £1585
YVR - £1620
HNL - £1830

Seems to cover a number of destinations but some others only on AA flights.

July/ August tends to be a good time for ex-eu fares so I'm sure there will be others showing up over the next few weeks.

That HNL fare seems very good indeed.

Guess the soft business demand over the summer makes J sales nice and plentiful.

Chris1979 - angatol has kindly listed the fare code and information. Those particular prices I've listed were based on the second weekend in August travelling and returning midweek (ie. cheapest days and with a Saturday night stay). There may be cheaper prices available at other times given it appears to be running in Nov and Dec/Jan.

I've managed to get those prices (give or take £20) including LCY-JFK, showing up both on BA and ITA matrix, albeit I guess you may want to book via AA for the full TPs depending on your plans.

So... I know there is no definitive answer to this... But some of you have better guess work than others

Any ideas or punts on the next Luxury Seat Sale? One that may cover out of school holiday travel in October and November?!

Either the end of August (startingjust before bank holiday) but if that one is just economy classes then expect the J and F one a few weeks later.

In the last couple of years I have made 3 x WT+ TATL bookings (in Sales, of course) between 15-27 Aug. Never tracked the J/F sales - I just UuA to J
