List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)
This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.
Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).
Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

So the other week I think these signs near check-in did say limited hours and closed some days. Today it shows open every day like the oneworld site, but it sounds like it isn’t correct?

No, the First lounge is not open and recent conversations have indicated there are currently no plans to reopen. There is now a dedicated “First” area in the Galleries Club Lounge.

I was there at 09.00 which probably explains why I found it shut. Never saw any signs though, albeit I was not looking out for any!

I do hope not. There's no way that waiter service in GF could cope with a normal footfall in the lounge.
I also personally don't like waiter service very much, if you don't have a lot of time in the lounge, its too slow plus
the number of options food and drink wise are greatly reduced compared to help yourself.

The First lounge has reopened at JFK; the Concorde Room has reverted to its normal access rules.

Any ideas if the LHR T3 Club area dedicated for First is for only those in First, or Emerald in other cabins too? Is it treated like the T5 CCR or T5F?

There is access to the First lounge. Everyone enters via Club reception and then there is a separate entrance opposite the guest services desk for First.
