List of Lounges Currently OPEN to BA Passengers (open wiki for details)

This wiki includes details of open lounges accessible to premium (F/J or Gold/Silver) passengers travelling on BA operated services, either within the terminal BA depart from or accessible via airside transfer.

Other lounges may be accessible for passengers willing to transfer landside to other terminals or concourses, although this is generally not recommended due to time constraints as a result of needing to re-clear security. Additionally, some airports may offer pay-in lounges which are not otherwise accessible by BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently).

Most open lounges are operating with a limited food and beverage service, and other services may be unavailable or modified.

For opening hours, please check the oneworld lounge listing at https://www.oneworld.com/airport-lounges?location= which is now being regularly updated.

If your airport isn't listed below, this probably means there is no lounge available for BA premium passengers (either temporarily or permanently) - please check the oneworld listing for the most up-to-date information.

Thanks for that, I was obviously in at the wrong time of day.

Strange that it's still all waiter service in F whereas mostly help yourself in GC .

The 4 times I've been in Galleries Club South recently, it has been rammed and bustling and I've not really wanted to linger. Trying to find a seat and a spare barcode to order always seems to involve encroaching on someone else/some group - entirely first world problem I know but having had GF access routinely for years it came as a shock! Food service is pretty prompt though.

I will likely also have Plaza Premium access when I next go to T5 in 2 weeks time - does anyone know how that compares to the GC lounges in terms of food, space, calmness? Next month onwards will be back to Gold/GF access so it's only an issue for this visit.

Hi All -
I've read countless pages in this thread and can't quite figure out what's going on at T5 GF. It appears to still be waiter service - correct? Waiter service for booze too? (it has been a long time since I've been to the lounge, similar selections as in 2019?) Champagne yet? Checking for a late Nov flight back to the US.

Thanks
Cheers

At CDG now. No signs of life in AA or CX lounges. How does BA offer a competitive product on this route. Nothing else open in terminal. What a joke.

In GF yesterday morning, hot breakfast food and alcohol was waiter service. Hot drinks and pastries were more of a queue up barista service.

Champagne has been back for a while in GF.

There is not much BA can do about that though... WIth today's reopening, I'd expect that AA operations will restart progressively and their lounge will reopen, but until that happens, it's not as though BA had specific options available to improve passengers' experience.

Air Tahiti Nui seems to figure it out...."From now on, the lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle is the "Salon Paul Maxence" located at Terminal 2A and the lounge in Los Angeles is the "Star Alliance Lounge" located at Tom Bradley on the 6th floor, Level 6 – Central atrium."

How hard can it be to pay the lounge. Oh...key word is pay.

Had a similar issue at SFO flying AS to PDX. Was refused entrance to the BA SFO Lounge.

First it was because of COVID, then limited capacity because of COVID and then, only BA passengers because of limited capacity because of COVID. Finally, I showed him the OneWorld website line “Access for eligible customers traveling on any oneworld member airline” but the gentleman at the counter said, "no, the website is not reliable and not updated regularly".

I'm fine if it was genially limited capacity however, arriving at 18:00 after the 17:10 had taken off and prior to the 21:20, the chances of hitting capacity seemed unlikely. There weren't any passengers at the checkin area as I headed to security.

Additionally, there are listings which say BA only such as LAX & the Star Alliance Lounge, which I'm fine with because its clear and informative.

Customer Service response was "We have raised this with our Loyalty team for you, so this will filtered down to the team in SFO. In the meantime if you are flying through SFO please ask the team to call us to clarify if they are unsure."

Will be interesting to see if anything changes or what the response is when denied again and I request they call GGL customer service.

I do hope not. There's no way that waiter service in GF could cope with a normal footfall in the lounge.
I also personally don't like waiter service very much, if you don't have a lot of time in the lounge, its too slow plus
the number of options food and drink wise are greatly reduced compared to help yourself.

I do still use the first wing, but unless it's quiet (can't remember the last time), I'll just head right through.
Can you use T5B lounge if you aren't flying from B gates? I wouldn't mind having a stroll from A to C and back again to kill some time, and stopping off at the B lounge if it's quieter might be a plan?

Hi,

Yes you can. Just use the underground walkway (Level -4 from the A gates) with travelators from A to B to C and vv
Regards

BA need to reconfigure the Refectory area then - lots of dead space where the hot plates and chillers are, if they’re never to be used again.

They sometimes get confused and tell you that you can use the Flounge or that your flight will be leaving from another part of the terminal. I usually just respond that I like it there because it's generally quiet.

Many thanks
