Hoping someone here can direct me to a suitable link, or indeed the number(s) themselves.
As I say, I don't have status, if that matters for the relevant number(s) to dial.

Thanks.

?Does the Amex card now have to be the same as that which earned the voucher

A: An American Express card must be used to settle the taxes, surcharges and fees for both passengers. The Terms and Conditions state you must use the same American Express card that the voucher was earned on to settle this payment, but in practice any American Express card can be used. You may not use a Visa, MasterCard or other payment form to settle these fees.
I think BA/Amex's policy has recently changed on this. I made an online outward 2-4-1 just before Christmas using Mrs K's voucher and with her as the lead traveller. The web site only offered me the option of using her Amex Card and I couldn't see how to change it to mine. When I rang (as her nominee) to make the inbound booking the agent specifically said the card must be the same name as the voucher. Does the Wiki need updating?

That's interesting thanks. I can't definitely say if it has as though I've just used a voucher, it was paid for on the earning card and I can't recall if other options were offered. Perhaps others could provide further data?

I wonder how that would work given that it is reported that you can cancel the card and retain the voucher?

Further data needed, as the scientists rightly say.....

Unless this has recently changed, Amex don’t actually do name verification. In other words, if you use your card but it has her name filled in, it should still go through.

17,000 one way for one person. So as a return it would be 34,000 with a 2-4-1. If you didn't have a 2-4-1 for two people it would be 34,000 x 2.

Could someone please clarify the procedure for adding Manchester to LHR on a 241.

I am shortly hoping to add a return from SE Asia to my outbound flight (booked in October). If I telephone the Japan team will they add the Man-LHR-Man to the ticket or is there a separate requirement. I am somewhat in the dark as it is the first time I will have redeemed long haul on a 241. I have looked through the pages on this forum but cannot seem to find the answer.

The outbound was booked online as suggested by the wonderful experts and I would be so grateful for any pointers.

Warm regards to All, Beaconfella

Well. I didn't think that it would be quite as easy but here is what happened this morning.

I was looking to book my return from Singapore in J or F at 355. I had noted that flights were available on the 11th so rang the UK number 0844 493 0747 about 10am. The call was answered and after my explanation the extremely polite and helpful gentleman sorted the return in J and added my Manchester to LHR, he was unable to add the return to Manchester as it was still outside of the time frame, but not to worry he said he would book the return to Manchester when it became available and he would call me to confirm that it was done, I wasn't expecting that. I am now just waiting for the call on Sunday.

I can only say what a positive experience I had especially as I wasn't expecting two J tickets to be available on the 12th as they were not shown on the BA site. Well done BA call center.

Sorry if it is not necessarily the right place but it is related to BA and AMEX.
Regarding the recent spend £300 get 3000 Avios offer - any idea if this is cumulative or does it have to be a single transaction required to trigger. It will make a massive difference to me as I only really have SH planned.

TIA

It states "on a transaction of £300+" so I'm 99% sure it has to be a single transaction I'm afraid

Historically the spend requirement has been cumulative. Have a look here for the source:

About to receive my first voucher in the next few days - quite exciting yet a little nervous. However great wiki and has pretty much answered all my questions.

Will try to use the voucher for the Maldives in CW in Middle Feb next year. Guessing this could be quite a popular route for redemption flights so will call the Japan office T-355 for the outbound flight, then T-355 to add the return flight.

Separate note; Any good websites for booking hotels in the Maldives? Booking direct with the hotels looks extortionate (normally book packages via BA Holidays).

Definitely not easy to get this route on a 2-4-1 in CW. For hotels, you could get quotes from Maldives specialists like Magic of Maldives, Purely Maldives, Simply Maldives amongst others. Tripadvisor Maldives forum is a good source for info on Maldives holidays.
