Will almost certainly be subject to confidentiality agreements.

Update posted on the Las Vegas Review-Journal; the tent has been removed and work is nearly finished on repairs (presumably the repairs needed to fly to another location for the next stage).

No new engine yet.

G–VIIO will be ferried to VCV on Friday 26th February for repainting – BA9172E LAS0900 VCV1100.

She is then due to ferry to CWL on 14th March to commence a C–Check before returning to LGW on 22nd March.

So all repairs appear done, except repaint. (Less than a month until flying passengers, including a C-Check and repaint.)

I would bet the over on a March return to service. (No inside info, just a guess.)

TCX69 does have inside info though so I think that information is probably more worthwhile than your guess I am afraid.

Thanks for the info. TCX69, am surprised it was performed so quickly once they actually started!

What does that mean for G-BNLF as it is showing in the Fleet thread as now operating until Jul'16 - will that likely change?

Speed tape fixes anything except the skin on finger tips and lips/nose, it removes that*

Wow, that was very fast! And it ties in with the previous date for G-BNLF's eventual retirement. Presumably her further life extension has therefore been for normal commercial / capacity reasons rather than merely covering for G-VIIO?

Out of interest why would it get repainted in VCV rather than CWL?
