I think this one was reported in this thread from Tuesday: BA offering 50.000 seats for £50 each way

Ah, apologies, I thought it was new overnight, having not had the benefit of a very functional website yesterday it was the first time I saw the ad.

So this.

I found a perfect flights and then they shot up by £300 within 2 hours.. i refuse to pay £600 for a flight with bags when i can fly at better times but have to take an hour train.

If they dont announce a sale by the end of next week im going to go on VS

Been watching DEN all week and no shift. Had wondered if the announcement this week of UA extending DEN to year round from Nov might have swayed prices for next Mar

randomly checked united. They had the flights i wanted to newark for £150 less than they were yesterday.

Snapped them up so quickly.

I will be watching the BA sale to see if the flights i orginally wanted ever went down.

Someone here said the new sale was starting last Thursday, what happened to that?

On the BA app on my phone it says May 2020 F Lhr-Mia round trip £1,369 but when you try to find it it’s not there. Round trip over £3k bit of a difference.

Expect something before the end of this week when the school holidays are coming to an end.

I made a phone booking this week and the agent said that things could be of interest from Thursday coming, and that the route I wanted isn't ever reduced anyway so I booked regardless.

I'm not sure they'll be in too much of a rush to get a new sale going whilst they're still trying to sort out the disaster they created.

I would have thought the opposite, trying to get the mass travelling public back on side with good news sale prices!

Agreed, it'd have to be a VERY good sale to get back in my good graces after this whole strike fiasco...I still have two more long haul flights to book this year and I'm currently leaning towards AF/KLM (since when did I start thinking AF had the lower risk of disruption due to strikes??) unless there are some very compelling J/F fares.

Yeah, but there's no guarantee they'll even be able to answer calls by this Thursday...

Even if there’s a sale imminently I plan not to book until strike threat completely over. When it is will look again.

My ideal would be to book an ex-EU on BA to Asia only for a strike to be announced after which I change to a direct flight on CX and get the original tier points and miles

I’ve got a GUF to burn and have a week’s worth of holiday I’ll have to take in January - fancy a nice WTP fair to MEX that I can upgrade to CW...
