Another Question,

how do you Goldies avoid an OT but genuinely funny thread from being quickly moved on by the mods?

Presumably the mods are all GGL and are therefore far too busy to want to deal with the hoi polloi themselves - so they've delegated it to their underlings.

Anyhow, do the golds feel it is going to be a particularly harsh winter?

Back to the original (I think) intention of this thread:

One for the plain vanilla Goldies

If you tried to use your Gold status to impress a potential partner, how would you cope if they replied that they were a GGL/CCR/Premier?

Dear BAEC Gold

1) I was wondering if I ever reach such status how do I address a fellow
Gold and also specifically a GGL/CCR holder. Do I have to bow re the
latter?

2) Are there any secret signals/handshakes that only Golds and GGL's know?

3) Do you think BA should issue Gold Stetsons at the boarding gate so that
all the other passengers know who they are?

Dear BAEC Gold,

Is the physical pain to a Silver or Blue when they touch a Gold as excruciating and debilitating as they say?

Dear PETER01

Its Ma'am or Sir when you addressing who is Gold, GLL or CCR, just like when you address the Queen or her husband. You only ever bow to The Pucci, she who must be obeyed. You need to bend over fully if you ever see her wielding her hairbrush.

2) Are there any secret signals/handshakes that only Golds and GGL's know?
Clearly to have to be Gold and GGL to get a direct answer to this question.

3) Do you think BA should issue Gold Stetsons at the boarding gate so that
all the other passengers know who they are?
A gold plastic card on your cabin luggage is sufficient at the boarding gates. Gold Stetsons are part of the ceremonial outfit and should only be worn at state occasions; i.e. BA FT Dos.

Your knowingly
BA Gold
