My skin, ok, but how about those plebs? .

Then why do I put my jammies in the sheet area after I change back, no one told me to throw them in the trash.

Fair enough. But what happens to the old ones. We know at least one person repacks them neatly But are they recycled in some way or perhaps sent to comic relief? Maybe ones worn by celebrities are sold on eBay?

Why should you have to throw them away, it's called service and we do this for you.
Who would really want these after someones wobbly bits have been in them.
I bet there are pervs out there and on here that would.

You wouldn't believe what you can find if you google "used and worn"

Help solve a delima on another thread. And any anecdotes of men and their BA jammies?

VS do wash and reuse i.e. "recycle" them so if that worries you then best to avoid VS.

A check in question, please:

The OH booked and paid for a forthcoming flight.

We will probably check in at different times.

Whilst I know that I could print the boarding pass at OLCI or have it sent to my BB, can I check in at a desk or at the machines at T5 even though I will not have the credit card used to purchase the flight?

It is ages, however, since I have been asked for the credit card, but I wanted to check.

Thank you.

LH crew question

How do cope with jetlag? Do you just leave your watch (and body clock) on London time regardless of the route or do you adjust to the time you will be at work prior to leaving?

What is the usual time you get downroute? Have the days of 3 or 4 nights exploring finished?

What is the best route for maximum rest time away from base?

Just curious that's all.

Anyone travelling on BA5 on Sunday?

Most long haul trips for pilots and legacy crew are 24 or 48 hrs down route. Seattle is 24 and SFO 48 to give a rough idea. Mixed fleet are 24 hrs as far as San Diego. The only trips with extra time are the ones with infrequent service like Mexico which can be 96 hrs there.

With trip lengths below 48 hrs jet lag is rarely an issue, although a succession of Atlantic crossings tends to leave me wide awake at 2am back home, so I avoid that where possible.

Does "dumping fuel" literally mean emptying fuel tanks into the sea?

How do you not set fire to fisherman?

Jettisoned fuel is atomised pretty well after ejection, and usully evaporates before reaching the ground or sea (unless the plane is low). Fishermen are totally safe from plane fuel. Unfortunately the same cannot be said for their safety from politicians, misguided environmental rules and EU quotas.

You can check in with just the booking reference number at one of the self service machines.
