I've never been in a lounge before so I'm not exactly sure how it works. I'd be arriving on a Club Europe flight from Toulouse at about 7pm - is there a lounge I could easily get into for a free meal/snack before I leave the airport?
No, only if you have a same-day onward connection.

For what it's worth, you will have access to the lounge at Toulouse before departure.

And in any event it closes well before callum9999 arrives.

OWE members in any cabin on BA TATL flights are also permitted to use the Arrivals Lounge in T5 when arriving at T5.

This policy has not been well documented in the past.

Is the Arrivals Lounge in T3 operated by AA or BA?

Is it much difference between the T5 and the T3 arrivals lounge?

Am I right to think you cannot travel between the two terminals to use the T5 arrivals lounge instead? (I have a T5 onward connection).

AA. (One can buy-in for $108 if one is daft enough.)

Not sure; I've only used T5. I am told T3's eating area is less refectoryish.

You are not right. If you arrive in T3 off a long-haul BA flight and you were in F or CW or are OWE, you may use Galleries Arrivals. That would require going and transferring landside by walkway and train, which you might find less convenient than using the transfer bus and going to Galleries Club instead.

Thanks stifle and swanhunter.

The report on the AArival lounge thread seems relatively positive. I will probably do that and then transfer to T5 for my onward connection.

How do you actually get to the arrival lounge at T5 by going landside? It has been a while since I connected through LHR.
