Android wise, my balance and tier points are correct and it now says 80TP to retain silver than than to earn gold. That's a potential improvement assuming it's not a bit of blind luck.
Haven't flown BA in 3-4 months to see if check in, BPs etc. work. |
Is the app down?
The app isn’t showing any bookings.
When I try to log in to my account via webpage it isn’t responding and just cycles back to the login screen. |
Working for me on IOS
|
I got the same on my PC (not showing flights), but mobile OK.

I have a future flight that departs on a Thursday at 18:45. App states that OLCI opens at 18:45 on the Wednesday… but the web states it opens at 06:45!

New iOS V6.6
There is a new iOS version available on the App Store. V6.6.
As usual it doesn’t say what has been released/fixed! |

New version of the iPhone app available!
6.6.1 |
Sounds like an emergency fix to fix the last "fix"!

An update rolled out for Android earlier this week, I don't need to use it uuntil tomorrow to attempt a check-in so no idea if anything has improved.
I noticed the App Store score for the BA App is now down to 1.8, quite something when 1 is the lowest score you can give if you want to add a review. Airline app scores (from the similar apps tab) BA 1.8 Austrian 4.8 KLM 4.7 Easyjet 4.7 United 4.4 Singapore 4.7 Emirates 4.7 Turkish 4.7 Icelandair 3.2 Air NZ 4.5 Etihad 4.1 SAS 4.7 JetBlue 4.5 Aer Lingus 2.8 Qatar 3.7 Iberia 3.7 American 4.5 Delta 4.4 Ryanair 4.5 Only worse app appears to be Thai 1.5 |
I'm getting this message on Andorid, and on the website:
"One of the countries in your journey requires you to scan your passport. To save time at the airport, you can do this using the British Airways iPhone app. If you've scanned your passport already, then we look forward to welcoming you on board. If you don't have an iPhone or your scan was unsuccessful, please be ready to scan your passport at the airport." Is it really the case that you need to have an iPhone to do this? Bonkers. Like many, I have no intention of ever owning an Apple product. Do any Android peeps know if it can be done on a non-iPhone? |

The Android app seems up to its usual tricks again this week. Hangs with the message "Checking your flight details" when attempting to download my boarding pass from the home page. Attempting to download from the booking gives "Sorry, we are unable to determine your check-in status. This means we won't be able to give you a mobile boarding pass." Meanwhile, M<anage my booking seems to think I haven't even checked in yet! 3 ways to access a boarding pass going wrong in 3 different ways.
Have ended up downloading a PDF on my laptop and saving it in a draft e-mail to allow me to then open it on my phone. It should not be this difficult. |
Ba IT is shockingly bad at the moment, won't let me download a ticket receipt, a fundamental functionality given mmb /check in thinks i have no luggage allowance when I should have 3 × 32kg.
Android check in fails, managed to do it on desktop. One bright point, travelling on separate tickets and PNRs, BA has figured out 'To complete party' so was able to check in both of us together and get the same group number - so something has indeed improved over the old system amongst the disaster zone within BA's customer facing IT. |
