Currently the iOS app isn’t loading at all for me - get the BA logo screen, then the “blank data” screen you normally get as data loads in the background, the the app crashes and it boots me to the home screen. Takes less than 1 second each time - tried force quitting, now going to try uninstalling and reinstalling. A real pain…

A reinstall sorted that problem out. Assume there was some kind of corruption of data relating to the logged in user account, that instead of failing gracefully prevented the app from loading properly at all…

Still/again get the "Sorry, we are unable to determine your check-in status. This means we won't be able to give you a mobile boarding pass." Android app. All fine on the actual website.

I have a similar problem noted above in that the app opens for a second and then crashes. It also flashes up a message that says ‘the account is locked to protect / secure the account and refer to the email from BA.’ Needless to say no email from BA in my inbox or junk.
My wife’s app is fine and using that I can see there has been no suspicious activity / Avios transfers etc from the household account. I have uninstalled / reinstalled to no avail. I have a few hours in the Gatwick F lounge so may give them a call if it does not resolve itself. |
For over a month now I have had an erratic buggy BAEC iPhone app. Reinstalled it a few times but nothing doing. It is just rubbish at the moment. :(
And I though it was slowly getting better! :mad: |
My wife is still not able to display her status on the “my account” page.
just the “something went wrong” message. not even a “sorry”🙄 credits of avios and tps are ok, though. |
Has anyone managed to get any feedback from BA on when a fix is likely, this has gone on for weeks now?

App just updated to 6.5.1, account details still not working (even after logging out/in).

Android user here. The latest version of the app actually shows some improvements. The "Recent Transactions" list looks slightly differently, and if I scroll down for history it loads a lot more quickly. Maybe this is some evidence of improvements on the back-end? I can fairly easily scroll down to 2018 (several hundreds of flights) with very minor delays in loading.

as of a couple of minutes ago, I can now display my exec. Club status banner on the app. however only on the iPad. Not on my iPhone ! I await with anticipation. |

Mine showed the usual "Something went wrong" error, but empowered by the posts above, I deleted the app and reinstalled it.
Logged in and ... Account Details works! Amazing. |
