OK, so I checked the ANA forum, I had to update my address, and I could see flights again. Found a LH flight EWR-DUS-LHR leaving on Friday the 8th... not ideal.. but all I could get in C at late notice... change fee was GBP20 no mention of 7 days etc... updated on Check my Trip.. now I need to hope it tickets in time....

I just booked a similar trip ZRH-MLE a few days ago.
OS virtually never releases reward seats on the VIE-MLE route. I have tried for two years, no luck. I booked ZRH-MUC-SIN-MLE-MUC-ZRH on LH in F and SQ in C. There was plenty of availability on SQ on most of the days that I checked. SQ is flying the 772 in a regional configuration with old, not so great seats. I would not have cared if I had to sit in Y for the short hop from SIN to MLE.
I checked availability using the ANA tool btw.

I have tried to use ANA, but I was NEVER been able to find availability for 2 C seats SIN-MLE !
1 seat is no problem, but 2 seats - just no way.
Am I doing something wrong - how did you found availability ?Or was it for 1 seat only ?
Thanks !
Regards,
El Puerco Volante.

To make things more extreme, would one-way DLA-ZRH-BKK-SIN-MLE in F (last sector in C of course) for 25k+cash be allowed?? That's an extra mid-haul sector in LX A330 F.
Does anyone know if one can transit without going through customs (and without using bribe!) at DLA... getting their visa + yellow fever jab is quite expensive and not sure if it's safe to do a side trip there...

huh? I didn't know I can redeem premium classes (or even economy) on ZRH-MLE operated by Edelweiss metal. Is this really the case?

I was wondering if its easy to change the last segment of a flight after its been ticketed? I was thinking about booking LHR-NYC-LAX but might wanna change this to LAS closer to the flight.
Since I will be stopping over in NYC it will mean just changing the last flight from NYC to LAS. Is this a simple change or will it require a cancellation and a new ticket?

Book, NYC-LAX-LAS, then you can go to LAX, and miss the final segment assuming you are on a OW ticket, if you decide to go to LAS change to a direct. You can make changes, but not to the final destination...
