Hi,

Is TBS-LHR-PEK(Z2-28) a valid route?

Im thinking the TBS-LHR sector will possibly be considered as backtrack...

I know the trip can be routed through IST for much shorter distance, but I wanna book another separate LHR-TBS Z1-Z2 to take BD gold advantage for free upgrade and Im residing in UK, also to avoid the UK APD.

You are indeed right, hadn't realised how far north Hanoi was. Back to the drawing board to eek the last out of my miles!!

You might get away with SIN- SGN- BKK- CNX

I am looking for a Z2-Z5 Routing, so I was wondering if a routing like this would be valid:

BUD-ZRH-DAR / Destination /

DAR-CAI-DXB / Stopover /

DXB-FRA/MUC/ZRH-BUD

It's quite detour to Dubai via Cairo.
I guess you have to pay Z2-Z5 & Z5-Z5 & Z5-Z2.

That's what I was thinking too...unfortunately there is no direct *A connection btw. DAR and DXB so the only way way to get to Dubai would be via CAI. Or do you have any other idea how to get there?

Well, I guess it's still pretty cheap even if I have to get another award ticket for DAR-DXB with a transit connection in CAI...

DAR-CAI-BUD is a published *A route.
cannot see how they would allow DAR-CAI-DXB //DXB-FRA/MUC/ZRH-BUD instead.

Of cause it is, but DXB would be a stopover and not just a transit point, so DAR-CAI-BUD doesn't help much in this particular matter.

Either way, I guess I will choose the option of booking three oneways as suggested by AHO:

Z2-Z5 (BUD-ZRH-DAR) in C-F for 18,750 plus 125 GBP Cash
Z5-Z5 (DAR-CAI-DXB) in C 7,500 plus 52,50 GBP Cash
and
Z5-Z2 (DXB-ZRH/FRA/MUC-BUD) in F-C for 18,750 plus 125 Cash or in solely C for 11,250 plus 75 GBP Cash

Total 45,000 Miles plus 302,50 GBP or 37,500 Miles plus 252,50 GBP. For me a excellent redemption ration, I have to say...

HNL-ICN-SIN(stop)-MAN Z11-Z1??

I'm guessing HNL-ICN-LHR-MAN would be fine, but what about the SIN bit?

What do you guys think, allowed or not?

No chance, especially with the stopover.........

LHR-HNL via LAX = 8k
via ICN = 10k

via SIN & ICN = 14k

Hi there,

I've read that Z1 - Z4 via Z3 is allowed but would this be ok or count as a backtrack?

DUB - PHL (stopover - overland) EWR - EZE

Availability seems much better EWR - EZE than it is IAD-EZE on UA.

thanks in advance

Would HKG-SIN(stop)-BKK-LHR be a valid Z1-8 routing or would there be an issue with stoping in Z7?

This is assuming I could not get seats on something direct from SIN-LON of course.

SQ fly direct from SIN to LHR. :D

Yes I know, it's just I'm doubtful I'll be able to grab 2 seats in C for early next year on the SQ direct or have things changed a great deal with the availability on the 77W/380 of late?
