Anyone have any suggestions for an AWD code with unlimited miles/km in France?

No proof needed at all. I've rented at least 18 times and they don't care. It's a Leisure code, and not Corp code. If anything say you work for CITI or something.

Also looking for a good rate to use in France. My corp rate is $250 (all in) for a friday to monday (3 days 13 hours) from Gare du nord to ORY and unlimited mileage.

Not sure what the discount is, but I'm Avis President's Club, it's the number that automatically shows up in my Avis iPhone app as the AWD used.

I just booked with my normal corp rate at $250, but after i submitted the reservation it came back at $199 and the X420076 was on the reservation and not my normal AWD.

This is a Citicorp (Leisure Code). Not sure if that means you are supposed to work at Citi and can use this when on leisure travel - or if it is for people with Citi cards or via their travel agency for customers. My guess is the former.

This one is giving me significantly cheaper rates in Italy, anyone know if they check ID or which company it is?

Try U8792001 5% off rentals in France
or
D732700 25% off in Europe

Don't know what size car you're looking at, but AWD L628000 (use on avis.co.uk) for 15% off in Europe gives $244 (£160.99) for mid-size class C car and $183 (£120.84) for a Group B car and less for smaller cars.

Avis Canada and Avis US don't seem to issue a lot of coupon codes for international travel, mostly just AWD numbers.

I'll be glad to look around for you, just need some more information:
What AWD numbers have you found already?
What size car are you looking for?
What are your rental dates?
What's the best rate you have seen so far?
Are you returning the car to LHR or a different location?

I believe that code is for Finmeccanica: http://www.finmeccanicausa.com/

AFAIK, it has been used successfully and recently by users of this forum. See this post http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/24531242-post3653.html

When renting using a corp code you're not sure of, it's always a good idea to have a back-up reservation with another agency so you don't get stuck with walk-up rates if you're refused the discount b/c you don't have ID.

Out of all the posts that mention A074800 (7 pages worth), there is only one saying the renter got declined using this code.. but that's the only FT post this person ever made.

Here's the post: http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/24195597-post3621.html

Thank you sir. I've seen that in this thread as well so I appreciate the extra confirmation.

Thinking of using this as a backup and having the registration under my partner I'm traveling with. Any idea where it's from?

Sorry...late to respond on this one, but I have been using the Air France Flying Blue Code (F982700). It's a public code and for my recent rentals has been the best deal I could find.

Has anyone had any luck getting "S829900" to work for luxury cars? It keeps on giving an invalid AWD error message for luxury cars (great rate) but works on lower class cars.

Publicly available code.

I have also found out that booking on the Irish side with AWD N744400 (BA Gold) gives unlimited mileage

the finnmeccanica rate is great for one-way rentals as well within France

Rent Full Size LAS to SLC one way Aug 8 - 15

Planning to start from Las Vegas 8/8 and visit the mighty 5 in Southern Utah and leave out of SLC 8/`5. I have tried a large variety of codes and all have astronomical costs. Most have mileage charges and dropoff charges. The best code (b920513 Corp Leisure Rate) gave me $639 for the 7 days. No coupons stack.

I'd like to get this under $400 if possible.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Need help with codes for Copenhagen Avis, Hertz

Hey guys Im gonna be in Copenhagen june 12-18, need to rent a car from june 15 1pm until june 18 2 am,

i found that the aadvantage code brings the price down a bit, but thats only an awd.

anyone have any good awd and/or coupon codes that would work well for avis or hertz in copenhagen?

i am 23 by the way, so i do understand that there is an underage fee-(any codes that would maybe waive it?)

Thanks alot friends

fletch14 Jun 7, 2015 12:20 pm

X400270

X400270 will get you a good discount (upto 35% off). Young drivers fees are waived if you use this code.

fletch14 Jun 7, 2015 12:21 pm

Try X400270 it should remove the young drivers fee for you.

As per the wiki at the top of the thread:

As of 2/12/14: We've had quite a few "Hey, come use this AWD. It's great" type of posts. When the AWD doesn't give a good discount, but is only posted to try to get renters to use the AWD of someone so the poster can earn free days from their Avis Corporate account.

From here out, please put the company/trade group/etc that's associated with the AWD or we'll delete the post to keep it on-topic here.

dc2447 Jun 13, 2015 4:16 am

Guys, I am having some issues getting my normal AWDs to offer any discount at all for my summer trip, picking up in MIA and dropping off in TPA.

Is this because I am returning at a different location?

Anyone help?

mhm63 Jun 14, 2015 12:40 pm

hi, i used awd number A888813 and got a good price in Zurich airport, does anyone know if at the counter, avis will ask for any ID? is that mean if they do not ask for ID and as long as I pick up my car, there is no risk they will change the rate. thanks a lot.

facehu Jun 14, 2015 10:33 pm

This one gave me the lowest I could find, too, for an 8-day rental in Connecticut. Can you tell us what company this code is from?

ivylg Jun 17, 2015 4:01 pm

Has anyone used AWD A191009, yet? Any hassles or ID requirements?

elham17 Jun 18, 2015 5:58 am

One-way rental- Portugal to Spain

Renting a car in Lisbon, Portugal and returning in Granada, Spain in July. Have tried all the codes listed here but none have worked.

Looking for a code that will discount the price with Avis for this 10-day one way rental.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks all.

papyPiHi Jun 19, 2015 2:52 am

DATA POINT: A191009 seems an AWD for UPS, the rate is Corporate, so ID may be required

Can anyone who used this code already please precise location and whether questions asked for the record?

SK AAR Jun 19, 2015 7:16 am

A191009

I have yet to understand the rave about this rate. I just tried it for my upcoming rental in BOS next month (1 week BOS to NYC). Yes, base rate is lower, but unlim. milage is not included - neither is any insurance at all.

As overseas visitor I will get far better rates by booking from the international/Danish Avis webpage where unlimited milage and insurance is included.

Which Tristate? There are several areas that refer to themselves as such.

villaseea Jun 22, 2015 5:45 pm

Hi there,

I've been trying a few different codes but I haven't really noticed any change from my corporate rate.
I'm a Canadian looking to rent LAX - SFO between July 2 - July 10.
Any recommendations for coupons?

mikeycanuk Jun 24, 2015 10:45 am

Any idea when coupons come out for July1 onwards? I have a 3day rental in Brisbane and the current international coupon ends June30.

As for discount codes they are all useless, my Amex Plat code gets nothing as does all the ones I have tried.

Try G417900. Very old reliable code from this site that consistently has excellent rates, unlimited miles, and free LDW. Never a hassle. Belongs to Kellwood Corp. I've found that it's not wise to use the code with the absolute lowest rate if the benefits (mileage, etc) are decreased and the level of risk (i.d. requested. etc.) are increased. In my opinion it's better to find a code that's reliable and provides a good value and stick with it.
