Depending on how many you need you could always churn them from some rewards cancellations.

Poor value at $15 per 1k miles. The previous sale (+135%) was better in the end.

Its not poor value if you have miles sitting in various accounts that you can combine and the minimum is 1000 miles.... how much did you have to lay down as a minimum for 135% last time ? (135% at 16.5 per 1000 is not actually 135 % of 15 per 1000 anyway)
